I put this up on the other thread already but for those that didn't see, here's my Madam Mim costume. "I'm an ugly old creep!"

Unfortunately DH's Merlin beard was a bust...it was literally like a big cotton ball and when I tried to comb it out with my fingers and make it look halfway decent it just fell right apart. So I need to find a better one! Might have to wait until the Halloween costume stores open so I can see what I'm getting.

Looks great!! Sorry about the beard - fake hair can be so tricky. I have a friend who's super big into cosplaying for local comic conventions and I've heard horror stories about wigs that have met an early frizzy end.

Hey Smitch. This is Angebee and I have changed my screenname (as Zurg would say) for the last time! Promise.

Party date still the same (Sept 24th)
Costume updates: female Dreamfinder for me and Dip (from 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?') for DSis. Both tentative. We're heading to the local Party City tomorrow to hopefully piece together most of hers and the rest of my outfit. Fingers crossed for a top hat and royal blue skirt! Otherwise we may have to think of simpler ideas.

Yay!! Just booked a Halloween girls weekend getaway with my daughter. We'll be at the Sept. 27 and 29 parties!!

We just booked for the first week of November. We will be attending the party on the final day Nov 1.

2 adults - dressed as doctor and nurse
1 child daughter - dressed as Doc Mcstuffins

Barring a tragic act of God, I should be there on October 31st, dressed as Gaston. I've yet to discover what the rest of my group will be wearing. Can't wait!

Our DD will be going as Minnie Mouse in her red polka-dot dress.

For us--- we know, but are being a bit secretive about it.

Me: Amy Pond

Eek! I love these! We are going Oct 3rd. My husband and I are going to be young Carl and Elie and my DS (2) is going to be Russell (all from UP). We are almost done with our costumes except I have to figure out the easiest way to make all of Russell's patches!

Can't wait to see everyones pictures once this is all over! Thanks Smitch for all your input on these threads

Okay, I just saw this and I see that you are going to be there on the same night as us-

amyren-4(2A/2C)- adults- no costumes, DD- Kevin, DS- Carl Fredricksen

If we run into each other we have to line the kids up for a picture- Kevin, Carl and Russell, haha. Now is anyone else going on Oct 3rd as Dug?

I'll be with a friend on the 13th, and I'll be Wendy with him as Peter!

Then on the 17th I'll be with my Mom and her friend, and I'll be Tink, Mom will be Peter, and friend will be Cruella!!

Super excited! If anyone sees us or even wants to make plans to meet up I'm more than willing!
