Well I did it...I'm now an official W&D "runner". I figured the only way to find out if I can make it to the end is to just do it! I have to admit I'm really nervous but also really looking forward to the challenge.![]()

Way to go TigerTown! I, too, am slow and I'm shooting for a 14.5min/mile pace. Enough to keep ahead of the sweepers and perhaps stop and take a pic with a character or two.
I use the run/walk method by Galloway. I run 30sec/walk 30sec. works well for me and I'm not too tired. This will be my first 1/2 as well!!

Just curious...how many of us are staying at the Swan/Dolphin the night of the race?
Do you want to share a van to WWS instead of taking the bus- avoiding long lines? I taxied from BC to CSR one night after fireworks and it was only $12.
