Official 2012 Princess 1/2 PICTURE THREAD!!!

Here's one I got of us at the GF.

great photos everyone! I love to see what everyone wore - and try to figure out how you carried your cameras! any suggestions on that one?

I'm doing the wine and dine in November - but would love to do the Princess. So guys can do the Princess too?

I carried my iPhone because I use Runkeeper and listen to my music on it while I run. It has a great camera so I used that on it.

Guys can definitely run. DH ran with me.:lovestruc

If there's anyone who hasn't purchased their photos yet, I just used the coupon code "lastchance" for 10% off. I got $9.90 off the CD.

Is that from Brightroom? I just got my CD the other day. Sometimes it pays to wait.

Do you have to order those pictures by a certain date? Does anyone know if I can combine pictures from two different bibs (DH & I ran as a team) onto one CD? When does the coupon expire?

These are all awesome pictures. I'm hoping to do the Princess in 2013 (as soon as I get in gear and start training again). Anyway, kind of a silly question here...are people emotional during the race? When I watched the video yall posted and see pictures of people running towards the castle and towards the finish line, I start tearing up. I will be a big ball of tears when I run this race. (Long story made short - my mom and I loved WDW, she passed away in 2001; her last trip was to WDW in 2000 my best trip ever). So, when I think of the castle, I think of and miss her like crazy. I know I will be bawling...will I be alone and if so, will people think I'm a complete crazy nut? Just curious what yall saw this year. ;)

Thanks!

I'll speak for myself...I was emotional! I got emotional walking into the expo! No one will think you're crazy. If you're worried, wear sunglasses! :) I started crying as I crossed the finish line and the volunteer put the medal around my neck. I get embarrassed easily and was meeting friends, so I tried to keep it together the best I could!

I didn't see an expiration date for the coupon. I found it by doing a google search.

You'll get emails saying that it's your last chance to order with coupon codes attached for months. I'm not sure about combining the two bibs on one CD. Maybe you could send an email to ask. Did you run together? I know there are lots of other people in most of my pictures, are you both in a lot of the same pictures listed under your bib numbers.

I had been so nervous that I would be an emotional wreck on race day - the whole process of training and things that were changing in my life leading up to it were always a cause of emotions for me - it truly was a journey to say the least - but surprisingly all I felt on race day was JOY! And very little in the way of tears!! I cry more now looking back on my pictures and seeing what I was able to accomplish

But don't worry about it! Tears are perfectly acceptable and wonderful in their own way!

Good luck in your training! I can't wait to hear all about it :goodvibes I won't be able to do the Princess 2013 (financially) but I will be cheering you all on!! Princess Power :thumbsup2

Thank you both so much for the information. Just glad to know that I won't be the only one. :) I called my aunt and told her about your comment on wearing sunglasses...she said she would make sure and two pairs of each of us as we will both need them. I CR every time I see that castle on a normal visit, so I'm sure the emotions will be that much more. Thank you again. I will let yall know how it goes. :lovestruc

I am another emotional person! I've never actually cried during a race, but the tears well up several times. I think I'm more of an excited crier because I still get misty eyed at the expo, on the bus to the race, the start, castle, and finish, getting my medal, etc. and it's not my first time around the block. The 'Let the memories begin" video on the magical express bus gets me every time too. It's definitely a good thing we always arrive during the day because I have duel purposes for my sunglasses:rotfl:

Haha, maybe it will be the same for me. Maybe I wont bawl uncontrolably. :) Yes, I get teary eyed just seeing the Magical Express bus because I know I'm "home" once again. Thanks so much!!! :lovestruc
