Shelby, Dangy - If you use runkeeper, how come we are not street team members?

Megan - I am also getting nervous. I have TOTALLY SLACKED my running training this week. Last time I got in 7.5 miles was September 13th. Eeek! I have, of course, done the gym on the 14th, 18th and 21st (elliptical averaging 3 - 5 miles and yesterday was 3.5 on treadmill and another 1 on elliptical). I've been so busy with work, and the days are getting shorter (I don't really have a safe route to run at night), and I was recovering from a groin area injury (seems to be all better now) and I still am careful with my knee (which acts up from time to time) and I am just about ready to kick myself. I was really hoping to get some long runs in before next Saturday. This weekend maybe, and I am going to the gym in a few for more cardio (It's only 9 PM here and my gym closes at 11 pm), but still. ARGH!!!!
Aaron, regul8ter18 (what's your name, by the way?), others - We did discuss a meet, at 5 PM at downtown disney on Friday, September 30th, and I suggested the amphitheater area outside World of Disney. I also suggested a run after, but if there's little interest that's fine because my crew is going to
MNSSHP that evening and we have dinner ressies at 6:30 or something.
Hubby and I leave next Thursday AM (one week! ACK!!!) I feel less ready for the actual trip then I do for the run. I am crazy busy with work deadlines, I am booked solid Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week with productions, I have no idea when I will find time to pack for us, I HAD hoped to go shopping for some outfits (we're doing a cruise after the run) and I'm not sure when that can happen), I want to do a long run this weekend.
Jeez.
But I am looking forward to my shiny. The medal is a shiny and it shall be mine and it shall be my shiny. And then I will engrave said shiny with my name and time and it will henceforth be known as my sparkly shiny. And it will be mine.
