That is actually going to be the hardest thing for me to do! I've only been doing this for 3 months and I'm so afraid that if I take this "break" (no pun intended...), I won't start back. I've lost 40 pounds in 3 months since starting to run, and I just don't want to lose my momentum...
But the reasonable adult inside my head tells me that rest is the fastest and safest way to get back... I hate being an adult...![]()
So sorry about your injury. I hope it heals quickly and you are able to stay motivated.
I'm very impressed that you lost 40 lbs in 3 months. How did you do it? I started running in June and have only lost 8 lbs - I have a lot more to go! The whole reason I started running was to lose weight. I have started lifting weights because I heard that will help, but it's not coming off as quickly as I hoped. What's your advice?
