If you are like me and have no hills a treadmill is a great alternative.
What settings should one used for a treadmill to do "hills"? I never know what % to use.

Flat is 2% and hills range from 6-10% or higher if you are looking for a challenge
Thank you for your answer. Guess I really need to start using that incline button a bit more.![]()
Hi Everyone~!
I just booked my hotel for AKV, for Friday & Sat night.
If I can get better air to fly Fri I will otherwise, I will fly out Sat on the 6am flight and leave late Sun after the half.
Im a DVC'er to any points I can save is great!!
Now I just have to reg for the race, we have 2 more weeks I think to save the $20 before it goes up.
My goal is to run the whole thing, as I finished in 2:45 but hit the wall at mile 10 otherwise would have finished 2:30-2:40..........I can do it!!
I don't post here often but wanted to share that Yesterday 2 friends and myself signed up with a running group.![]()
we are very excited even though right now we are in the last group of runners. We did a 30 minute run/ walk at 7:30 am and ended up running down the beach. Well not on the beach but the highway. I am in South Florida and it was already so hot that early in the morning!!
We are all non runners and are doing the couch25K on our own at home. We already signed up for the Princess Half so we HAVE to get this done!!
The coach did say that we needed a running belt to carry water. Anyone else use this? If so, what kind do you use? Sorry if I am asking something that has already been answered.

Good for you getting into a running group!
This is what I use. It's a hand held not a belt. I don't like to carry water, but sometimes, I just have to.
