Sirius sat and watched everybody until he decided he might as well strike up a conversation. "Could be interesting to see the answers" Sirius thought to himself. "So...what house do you all think you'll be sorted into?" Sirius was a pureblood and figured everyone knew what houses were. "Hoping for Gryffindor myself" He spoke.

"What houses are there? How do you get sorted?" Harry was very confused.

I'm personally hoping for Gryffindor as well, Luna said, she was a bit cheerier now.

"Oh Harry, you get sorted into houses by the sorting hat, you silly boy!"

Luna gasped, it was incomprehensible to her that someone didn't know what sorting was. It was practically the most important 1st year thing.

"You see", she said "There are 4 houses, and tonight, the sorting hat will magically tell us to which house we belong. It's great!"

"Muggle is the word used for people who's parents aren't witches or wizards. I've heard lots of muggle-borns are some of the best witches and wizards." Sirius smiled. "I haven't met a muggle-born before. Welcome" Sirius stated to the girl.

"My aunt, uncle, and cousin are muggles, and they are absolutly horrid, but lots are nice, like your parents I'm sure"

"I've always been kind of scared of Muggles. Maybe I've met your family before and that's why" Luna said with a wink.

"I've never actually met a muggle before, I've just read about them in books and such." She said this with a sigh and looked down at her feet. Then she answered Lavinia's question...

"Oh Hogwarts isn't much farther, believe it or not we've been on this train for a couple hours at least!"

"Don't worry...even all purebloods can be gits. About time I got out of that place." Sirius said. "Rather be muggle-born than pureblood at the moment." Sirius added.
