thunderbird 1 thanks so much-buying the 5 day wp & more makes much more sense...I could always add the no expiration option at the end of our trip just in case we are not able to use up the tix.

This is my first year trying for free dining and I was able to get all my ADR's & times I wanted just was unsure about the best tix to get.

I got through after an hour on hold (I called right at 7).

i made my original ressie with another card. My CM (Gidget) had to cancel the old ressie and make a new one - but I got all the same stuff:

CSR, King Bed
August 30-Sept 6
MYW+basic dining

I got my email about an hour later. Under details it gives me the price and says the deposit is due by April 21. I gave her my CC info over hte phone. Does this mean that it didn't go through and I'll have to call back and put down a deposit by April 21 - or is the email generic whether you've paid your deposit or not? Its not showing on my card as a pending payment either (but sometimes that takes a while with Chase). Any ideas?

Oh, BTW, we saved $532 for the two of us. When I mentioned it to DH, he asked about the plan and I reminded him of no appys and no tips this year, he wanted to upgrade to DXDDP. We're still on the fence with that!

Good luck to everyone else. Oh, I didn't have to give her a code either, I just said free dining.

If someone could please answer a couple of questions. I was planning in the FD but now thinking about the deluxe at the reduced rate. I can't book until Thursday so I can think about this and wanted some info for those that are calling today. How much is it? are the tips included or do you pay oop like the basic plan? Thanks

You still pay oop for tips and it is $70 per day per person. I forgot what the rate was for the basic plan but subtract that.

Does anyone know if you look online at disney at "my disney vacation" and then key in your confirmation number and phone number. It is suppose to give you your details. Which it does for me, it lists the people and room and tickets, but it says nothing about dining or free dining? Is it usually like this?? Please tell me I have nothing to worry about!

The Deluxe plan is $32 extra per adult and $10 extra per child 3-9. Appetizers on TS meals and a refillable mug per person are included, tips are not.

Please don't quote me but i believe my free dining lasr year did not show up on there . When i called the cm said it was def on my ressie and not to worry. I guess it wont hurt to call, but it's up to you.

Thank you d23cndrela!!! I guess I am such a worry wort! I just want everything to be perfect and I like to have things in writing or printed on paper. LOL I guess if I don't get anything (and inlaws don't either) I will call tomorrow and see if they can send another email? Did the free dining details show up on people's email confirmations????

I also think that it may just take a day to show up, when i made my reservation I got a generic e-mail confirmation, then the next day I got the one with all my details on it. Same thing when I called in to pay extra to them, I didn't get the updated e-mail till the next day.

I got POP for 9/19-26 w/ the free dining!! I am SO excited! We had originally booked a bounceback trip for those dates at POFQ, but then my mom decided she wanted to go, too, if they offered free dining. We did the math and decided we would all go and get two rooms at POP if we could. My TA got through and got it for me today! Yippee!!

(maybe my BB POFQ room is now available to someone who might have wanted it?) They told me TA I couldn't switch my ressie from POFQ to POP, but I could cancel and make a new ressie and get POP. Weird. Doesn't matter how she did it, though, just that she did!!

Now to plan my window decorations...

I doubt it but, has anyone gotten FD (without a split reservation) when you check in before 8/24? We are there 8/19- 8/25. Can't do a split : #1 kids go back to school. #2 # 3 day minimum. It is killing me that they will allow checking in at the end however... ex.. 9/19 thru whatever and still getting FD because their check-in date falls within those parameters.
Somebody call the Waaaambulance for me!

i made reservations this morning for AS MU w/FD but this afternoon i got an email from DV for a 5 night 6 day package with tickets and FD at saratoga springs for a studio (2 AD 1 CH 1 Junior) for $104 pp per day. so i called to see what the difference in price would be b/c that would be a nice place to stay. she quoted me 2,405.30.

there is only myself, husband and child. am i just not getting it or does that not sound right? it is for 9/13 - 9/18 - 5 nights 6 day.

has anyone seen this deal and booked if? explain please. maybe i need to call and get a diff. cm.
