Thank you d23cndrela!!! I guess I am such a worry wort! I just want everything to be perfect and I like to have things in writing or printed on paper. LOL I guess if I don't get anything (and inlaws don't either) I will call tomorrow and see if they can send another email? Did the free dining details show up on people's email confirmations????

you are very welcome. What i would do I call disney and ask for a Paper (in the Mail ) Confirmation. This way you have everything in writing. They don't always send them anymore. when i booked bounce back all i got was the email. I called and they sent me one in the mail. this way i could see that everything is right.

You still pay oop for tips and it is $70 per day per person. I forgot what the rate was for the basic plan but subtract that.

I know this might be a stupid question, but what is oop? I'm still trying to get used to all of the abbreviations!

I too thought it is funny/ironic thatthey will include days after as long as the first day is within the plan, but they will not include days before as long as the last day is included in the plan. But I am fairly sure most codes work that way.

I haven't checked my reservation on line, but I got an email receipt that specifically lists free dining. If you didn't get one, maybe you should call. They should be able to email one right away. HTH.

So we finally got through with AAA - turns out the only rooms available at the WL with free dining were courtyard view - so we end up about $400 less using AAA, no dining, and our original woods view rooms.

Disappointed the free dining won't work for us... but at least we still get to stay at our favorite resort!

I called and got right through within a minute and she said she would check and see if the email was generated and if it was she said it could take up to 24 hours to get it and if not, she would send it again. Well, it was never generated, so she said she sent it!!!! The best is when she repeated what it was for, she did include the dining plan!!!

I also already got my email confirmation and it specifically lists free dining---lists the table service, counter service and snack credits for persons 1,2,3,4,and 5.

I got through right away at 7:00 am this morning but was on hold until 8:00 am listening to really loud Disney music! It was worth it though because I was able to get the free dining plan at Pop Century, with a 1 day base ticket for my DH and I for 5 nights, six days for $616.84!!!! We were only planning on eating counter service dinners before the FDP offer but now we're going to be able to really enjoy a sit down meal! I hope the airfare prices go down somewhat because they seem really high lately on flights to Florida. Glad to read that so many dissers were able to get the FDP!

YEAH!!!!!! AAA TA finally called back. Saved over $200 for DD and I for 9 day trip. Didnt have to change resorts or anything!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

I didn't get my email either. I DID get a call from Sally in Guest Services saying she emailed me. When I called to inquire about the email I was told to check back tomorrow. I wish that I had confirmed to make sure they had free dining but I know I do because my reservation on the Disney Site reflects the price difference. I just want the see the detailed listing.

Was able to book today at PO Riverside. The travel agent mentioned that I can book today, then she will be able to update the reservation on Thursday morning w/ the free dining promotion. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I have to wait until Thursday too I work at 8am but hoping to book as soon as I get home. I talked my parents into joining us again!! Do you think I would be better off making the ressies now and then adding the FD on Thursday?

Actually No I haven't heard these dates much at all! I'm glad because these are basically my dates! 8/26-8/31!

uggh, missed it by a week. We fly in for a stay from Aug. 17-24th. Only thing I can hope for now is my week will be empty because everyone was waiting for free dining to start!!!

Don't feel bad for me, we are flying in from Disneyland the week before!!
