Your absolutely right Val Disney. Why waste the time and energy watching 3 singers I don't feel are star quality to be the next American Idol. I'm so mad I could scream. I hope Latoya gets a record deal and her album does just as good as Clay's. I'm just not into Diana. Something about her personality. This years American Idol sucks!!

Same here! The only 2 that I liked that were left were Latoya and Jasmine, so I decided to split my votes for both of them. I got through for Jasmine with no problem after the first hour (I gave about 8 votes). Latoya I couldn't get through until the last 5 minutes!!!! I also gave her 8 votes.

This is so ridiculous. The 2 worst and most annoying performers are left, and will most likely be the final 2, because I don't think Jasmine can last one more week.

This was the last person left that actually had the talent and personality to win. I cannot believe that she was beat out by Diana and Fantasia. And did you hear Fantasia when she was in the bottom 2, "Oh I know I'm a winner," that just disgusted me and I hope she loses fans for that.

As for the comments from the judges (especially Paula), I may not like Diana, but how can they say that American voted wrong! Yea she sucks, but if that's the way most people voted, then it's not wrong...it's people's opinions. And that's so wrong to say that when the two of them are just sitting there. They didn't do anything wrong, they performed and people voted. It's so wrong to say that they don't deserve to be there.

I pretty much saw it coming when it came down to Latoya and Jasmine. It was too obvious that it would have been Jasmine, but I know their tricks, I knew it was gonna be Latoya. And I knew that it would have been Fantasia over Latoya. It sucks now because I don't like Fantasia or Diana. I do like Jasmine, but I don't think she's as good as some of the others that have been voted out. So from now on I'll vote for Jasmine, but she'll probably be gone next week.

I was all excited about The Idol Tour, but now I'm not so sure. I really wanted to see John Stevens and a couple others, but if Fantasia and Diana are the final 2, I'm not sure I can deal with that. They'd be singing the most, and I don't really want to listen to that. I'll probably end up going anyway, just for John.

I don't know how I can watch this anymore. I don't think I want to listen to Fantasia and Diana sing 3 songs each next week, yuck. But I might watch just to see the comments they get and who gets voted off. I really hope they lose a lot of viewers, and learn to pick people with talent next season! No more Diana's or Fantasia's!

Pardon my French, but this just plain sucks! I tried from 9:10-9:20 to call for LaToya, but only got a busy signal. I decided to give it a rest and try again at 10. I called from 10-10:25 to try to vote for LaToya, and again could not get through, so I finally gave up.

So you tell ME American Idol - what are my options? Don't keep saying "you have to vote for who you want" and then not allow me to even cast one vote. I am so mad right now that I could spit nails. AI has to address this injustice with the way they are accepting multiple calls from the same phone. I'm not going to watch the show anymore until they fix this mess.

Whew, now that I've got that off my chest, I feel better - LOL!!

I am so confused... DD, who is 6, likes Jasmine, but, of course, she is 6... so I let her vote... She voted 3X for Jasmine... bam, bam, bam right in a row... I tried to vote for Latoya and got through after about 20 mins... I just knew Jasmine was gone...

I can't wait for Lotoya's cd to come out. Every week she sang beautiful. Not everyone was able to do this. I enjoyed listenng to all her songs. I don't understand what Simon talks about. Boring. it's singing. So Fantasia and Diana jump around more , when you listen to a CD it's what you hear. They also showed a clip at the end, she was right there in the audience. Well , maybe it's a blessing for her. She could make her own deal and not have to give any royalties to AI.
I wonder if the teenage power voters are going to buy 100 CD's of the winner.

Anyway, I am done with this show. I can't believe how annoyed I am.

Need I say how SHOCKED I am? This is such injustice. And I know exactly what it is. It's the sympathy votes. People voted for Jasmine multiple times - not because she sounded good (because she didn't have a single note in tune apparently) - but because they "felt bad". People, if you don't think a person can sing, DON'T VOTE FOR THEM, but if you voted for a bad singer just because you felt bad, don't get angry when they remain in the competition over a better singer/performer. I now officially refuse to watch the rest of the season. (Of course, I will still check in here because I just can't help my curiosity. ) I will buy LaToya's and John's albums, and that's how I will "vote" for them even after they are gone, because I enjoy their voices.

I totally agree that they should only allow one vote per phone.

I disagree that it is sympathy votes. I voted for Jasmine and it is because I can't stand Fantasia. I was trying to vote for the others to get her to go. And from reading the boards, I think a lot of people did this. With Fantasia, seems you either love her or hate her. After they announced Fantasia was in the bottom two, I guessed it would be Latoya because if it had been Jasmine, I think they would have announced her first since it was expected. I had hoped that Latoya would win. Now I'll root for Diana

I also meant to add that I saw all three judges on tv yesterday ("Extra" I think) and all three predicted Latoya to win. Oh, well...

Although I am very unhappy that LaToya was voted out, the positive will be more then likely she will get a better record deal then the winner of AI. I too do not like Fantasia, but Jasmine needs to go even my 11 yo says she can't sing, and she is in the age group that AI is aiming for promotion wise.

This just ticks me off! I live in the same voting area that LaToya lives in - and I couldn't get through at around 10:30!!! I tried several times - what's up with that?!

This is great - it frees up my Tuesday & Wednesday evenings!

Really!!! Poor Jasmine... the kid knew she should have been let go tonight.... but to have to sit and smile while people are booing you....

I too will be purchasing a LaToya London CD.... I hope she gets similar producers as Clay Aiken.

I was also shocked Jazzy stayed, I was hoping Fantasia would be gone over Latoya, though I have been a Diana fan all along, I think Latoya is abit boring myself. I do believe Jazzy stayed because of sympathy votes, shes a little doll, and I felt bad that Simon made her cry, but shouldn't be in the top 3, and she she knows it to, all that booing is so mean, I think she felt worse last night then tues. If Simon really wants someone to leave, he should keep his mouth shut!

What the British AI producers aren't taking into account is that we Americans like to have a bit of fun when we can take control. AI 3 long ago turned into a "lets vote for whomever the judges like least" type of phone-in--people could care less with who has the most talent. We're tired of the whole "Idol" concept. When the original contestents were so less talented than last year; when not one made a real connection with the audience (unlike Clay or Rueben), it turned around on them.
We don't do things the same way the British did on the original Idol. My opinion is they are going to have to rethink this phone in voting system if they truly want their "American IDOL".
I used to think "how can they vote for these people !!", now I'm like "hey, the game has changed--let's see if Jas gets all the way to #1 and then how Ryan and the judges wade their way through that!!"

Would certainly make an interesting final episode in an otherwise BORING season.

I was so shocked last night! How could Latoya get voted off, especially over Jasmine?

Even though there is only a couple of episodes left of the season, I don't think I'll watch it. Latoya was the only one who I really enjoyed listening to. I don't like Fantasia at all, Jasmine isn't good and I like Diana but not enough to watch the dragged out shows just to hear her sing.

However, if there is an AI next year, I'm sure I'll get roped in again. I love the auditions and then I'm stuck on the show from that point on!

The BOOS reflected the mood of the audience... it was indeed a BOO moment.

Jasmine had no business being up on that stage. The fact that she was smiling made ME sick.

This show is now a former favorite of mine. What a mess. No problem, Latoya conducted herself as she did all along, like a lady. She will smell like a rose after all this, no doubt.

I have no idea how this will end up but a Diana/ Fantasia ending would be interesting. It won't be quite as interesting as the Clay/Ruben debacle, but it will be interesting.

LaToya has been my favorite since the beginning. But to be honest, I just don't think she is AI material. She is waaay too classy. She'll most likely be around in 5 years, while the remaining 3 won't be! Her beautiful voice will serve her well. It's obvious that when ever the judges are 'mean' to someone, that person gets the sympathy vote that week!! I like Jasmine, she has a 'nice' voice. As she matures it will get better. Diana is perky and 'idolish' if you know what I mean. Fantasia just is not my cup of tea. Nothing about her appeals to me, but I'm old!! Don't really care who wins at this point. Haven't cared for quite awhile, truth be told!! As a whole, this group has not been so wonderful.

IMHO, there's no excuse for booing. I think it's rude and unkind.

I also think that Jasmine didn't know how to react as she was in shock and I'm sure she felt a mixture of surprise, thankfulness, and guilt. She was told by Simon to get her thank you cards ready for Hawaii. So she felt the need to be thankful. She's only 17 and in an awkward position. I don't mind that she was smiling. She probably didn't know what to do. Seems to me she was in shock.
