Off Topic - **Pixie Dust**That Our Kitty Comes Home Safely Please

Almost a year ago we took in a little black and white stray that had been living around our neighborhood for a month or so. When we got him he was about 7 months old, and we named him Ty Pennington III.

He has never gone outside since the day that we brought him in even though our other cat, Lily, scoots outside every once in a while (although she is not SUPPOSED to.)

Well, today, Ty, or Lily and Ty, got the screen off of one of our windows and both got outside. Lily we do not worry about because she always comes home. We have not seen Ty since shortly after he got out. I stupidly shut the window that he got out of, and a few minutes later, he was on the window sill trying to get in. The window swings out, so I could not open it for him to get in without knocking him off of the sill. I tried to lure him in one of the other windows (it is a bay window) but he would not come in.

We have not seen him since noon today. I keep telling myself that he will come home when he is hungry, or scared. But as each hour goes by, I get more and more worried.

So please, if you will, please send a little PD or a prayer if you do that, that our Ty will come home safe and sound.

Awwwww, poor kitty! They do love to escape don't they? I used to have a kitty that would do that every now and then!

Thank you for your prayers and PD you guys. I am so worried, but you have made me feel a little bit better. I keep praying that he will just jump through the window (we left the screen off so that he can get in if he wants). If he is not home by the time that I need to get to bed, it will be hard for me to sleep tonight.

I hope your baby comes home. I know how it feels. I went through a whole night and hail storm before I was able to get my "Blackie" back.

Sending some extra special kitty pixie dust your way. I will pray for your kitty to come home tonight. Try checking any local animal pounds too. When I lived in las Vegas, my kitty Shadow got outside and I walked up and down the street looking for him. I found him at a pound on the other side of town. They said they picked him up right on my street. Someone must have called them.

Is he home yet? That's so scary. Our Maxie got out once...she was so terrfied once she got out there, she didn't know what to do. She sat behind the house crying until I found her. She hasn't tried to get back out since then.

Oh, Beth! I hope you were able to sleep last night. Please give us an update. I'm sure he will be home soon, he's probably just in the yard someplace hiding out waiting for you guys to wake up!

I am sorry to say that Ty is still not home. Katherine, our 10 year old was up shortly after 6 this morning looking for him. She has been crying and asking why God does not answer her prayers. What is a parent to say?

As to what you say: God answers *all* prayers. They're just either "yes", "no", or "wait".

Ty is still missing. The girls are combing the neighborhood and they have made flyers.

Some good news! There has been a "sighting." Seems that Ty is holed up under our neighbor's deck across the street. This is that same place where he lived for a few weeks last fall before we "rescued" him. Katherine saw him and was petting his nose when the little boys in our neighborhood came to "help." Ty scooted away.

Now this deck is HUGE - lots of parts that spans the width of their backyard. So it is hard to keep an eye on him over there. And Katherine seems to think that Ty is not there right now. But I would bet that is where he goes to feel safe.

We tried to lure him with the food that brings him running every time - McDonald's fries. But we could not find him at the time.

At least we know that he is still safe and is in our neighborhood. I just hope that he STAYS safe and that we can get him back in our house before we have to leave early Friday AM.

Have a picnic in your neighbors backyard to lure Ty out! That is if they will let you. Keep it to familiar voices so that Ty will come back willingly. Don't forget the bring the Fries!
