Almost a year ago we took in a little black and white stray that had been living around our neighborhood for a month or so. When we got him he was about 7 months old, and we named him Ty Pennington III.
He has never gone outside since the day that we brought him in even though our other cat, Lily, scoots outside every once in a while (although she is not SUPPOSED to.)
Well, today, Ty, or Lily and Ty, got the screen off of one of our windows and both got outside.
Lily we do not worry about because she always comes home. We have not seen Ty since shortly after he got out. I stupidly shut the window that he got out of, and a few minutes later, he was on the window sill trying to get in. The window swings out, so I could not open it for him to get in without knocking him off of the sill. I tried to lure him in one of the other windows (it is a bay window) but he would not come in.
We have not seen him since noon today. I keep telling myself that he will come home when he is hungry, or scared. But as each hour goes by, I get more and more worried.
So please, if you will, please send a little PD or a prayer if you do that, that our Ty will come home safe and sound.
Thank you.
