Off Topic: MNSSHP!

I love MNSSHP! I went like two years ago! It was a blast! This year we are going on September 15...the day after we get married! I am excited!

I just got our tickets tonight to MNSSHP and our nights at All-Star Music for our quick WDW trip! It's just going to be my Mom and me...and I can't wait!

What resort should we go to for dinner? We have been to Boma, 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, and the family style place at Wilderness Lodge....hmmm....the name isn't coming to me at the moment! :confused3 Any suggestions? :thumbsup2

Have you considered the Yachtsman's Steakhouse? As for MNSSHP, we were there last year and it was a blast! Make sure you take advantage of the trick-or-treating - it's lots of fun and not just for the kids.

Two other things to remember - if you are going to be dressed as a Disney character, CMs tell you that you are not allowed to take photos with other guests in the park if they come up to you and ask you to. pirate: We found people were just taking the photos of us without asking (me, mom & aunt were all Maleficent & DF was her pet raven) which caused some CMs to caution us we could be asked to leave if it kept happening even though we weren't initiating it.

The other thing is make sure you go to the photo session. Last year it was in Tomorrowland but a lot of people passed right by and didn't know about it. My aunt was upset she didn't get a picture because it wasn't being announced anywhere & DF & I only got it by accident - we thought we were going in to meet the Incredibles.

I might be going. If so it will be durning out honeymoon.
Ive gone the last 3 years I warn you its a little overwhelming now that its so popular....
if you go make sure your costume in comfortable.
because its really hot and sticky and super super packed!

That's funny you say that about people wanting to take pictures with you. Why would Disney be mad? Makes no sense! :confused3 I mean...what if you were dressed like that at home and all the kids in the neighborhood took pictures with you....Disney wouldn't know! Wierd...I think! It just reminded me of when my DH and I were on our Disneymoon wearing our wedding ears and everyone stopped us to take a picture of us! It was wierd that all these strangers just wanted our pictures, but we were nice about it and smiled for them. :) We'd think they were asking to take a picture for us because it was just the two of us, but no...they wanted a picture of us for themselves...haha! :rotfl: And many...were snapping pictures of us just as we walked by...I thought it was funny! Of course, tons of strangers were snapping pictures of us on our weddign day, especailly after the wedding when we had to walk around the resort. :goodvibes Your costumes sound awesome!! Any pictures to share? I'd love to see them! She is my fav villian! :teeth:

This is going to sound silly, but, is it okay to dress up if you are attending the one on the 12th, or any other date, not only the ones closest to Halloween?

How great... You are going to have so much fun... I actually got my tix today... We are going Oct. 20... Have fun

Oh, that is such an awesome costume!! Is there any way you can get the picture a little bigger? I'd love to see a closer shot. It looks so cool!! You had to have had one of the best costumes there that night!! I love :maleficen! She is the coolest Disney villain!

We've booked tickets for Friday 27th October. It's our last night in Orlando as we are heading down the coast for our 3rd week. thought was a good idea to leave Disney on such a high. I'll be kicking and screaming most of the way. I wonder if Chip n Dale would want to head to the coast with us.....

Oh, I love it!! :maleficen That's one of the best costumes I have seen! Your DF looks great too!! I'm glad to see he was a good sport and participated. :) I didn't think my Mom would be into it and she's very excited about dressing up and deciding what to wear! She's obsessed with Jack Sparrow, so that is her theme...haha! :rotfl: I can't wait to see all the awesome costumes! That has to be one of the big highlights! :thumbsup2

Thanks! :sunny: It was a lot of fun & I was pleased DF agreed to dress up too - his only rule was no tights so when my mom suggested Diablo he said sure if you can find the costume. The CMs got a huge kick out of him, especially since he walked around cawing all night. :teeth: We saw some really great costumes - my favorites were this family of 6 or 8 people all dressed as different Star Wars characters. You and your mom are going to have a blast - I can't wait to see pictures of your costumes! pirate:
