off site help PLEASE!!!

Hey all you Disers and frequent Disney goers, I need some of your help!

We arrive early on a Friday, but don't check in to the Contemporary until Sunday. We would like to go to Seaworld on Saturday, and thought that we'd take some time on Friday to visit DTD so that we had more time to devote to the rest of the parks the rest of the week. (I'm so worried about not having enough time)

So...my dilemma is...where to stay outside Disney. I've seen some GREAT deals for suites, so it seems silly to pay $100 bucks/night for just a hotel close to DTD, but maybe that's the best bet, as we will not have a car. We were going to try to take a taxi when needed because I've heard such nightmare stories about the shuttle transportation at the various off site hotels. (I'm wondering if we'll pay an arm & a leg for taxis tho) Any hotels that are TRULY within walking distance to DTD or Seaworld so that we're only paying for a taxi to go to one park?

Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone ever stay at the Blue Tree Resort or the Country Suites?

Most of the DTD Hotels are within walking distance: Hilton, Buena Vista Palace, Regal Sun and Holiday Inn are the closest.
There's a Renaissance and a Hilton Garden Inn to the left of the SeaWorld parking lot that are probably within walking distance but they may have a shuttle also.

SeaWorld is #142 zoom in and look to the left of the parking lot for the Renais and Hilton Garden Inn.

Check out the Residence Inn at Sea World. Helped my friend plan a trip last year and they loved it.
