We'll probably be dining off-site on a few occasions as we'll have a few gift cards to use.

Can anyone tell me if there is a Romano's Macaroni Grill and/or a Chili's just off the resort? We'll be staying at POFQ with a rental car, but I'm hoping for a quick (less than 30 minute) drive to wherever we do eat.

Thanks!

Oh heck yeah - just go out to those individual websites and put in Kissimmee for a location. 30 minutes is nothing. There's just about every chain restaurant in the country along Highway 192.

Hi

There's a Chilis about a mile from Downtown Disney in the Lake Buena Vista area

Thanks for the info. I figured there had to be some close, but wanted to make sure. We're also planning a visit to Emeril's at Citywalk. I can't seem to visit Orlando without going there. It's our big splurge meal of the trip.

We just did Tchoup Chop for my graduation dinner last month and I was pretty disappointed, but it might have been because we've been to quite a few excellent Disney restaurants since the last time I did Tchoup Chop. I'm thinking of doing Emeril's sometime in the distant future as well.

I've been to Emeril's twice, but never to Tcoup Chop. I have no complaints...except that I'd like to see him open a place in his homestate! Despite his name being on all the restaurants, it can only be as good as that day's chef because that is who will be making the meal. I'm hoping that one of these days, Emeril himself will be there when I am.

Tchoup Chop has gotten several bad reviews in Orlando area newspapers and magazines. Sounds like they got some fixin' to do.

Yes, I noticed the poor review in the Sentinel a little while before we went, but my aunt and grandmother insisted on it because they were staying in the Royal Pacific.

We've been to Tchoup Chop twice now. It's an odd restaurant. There are isolated things that are tasty -- remarkable even. But both meals over all have been disappointing, particularly for the price we paid.
