Off on #40! Have a Great Holiday!

We're off on number 40 on the Wonder...leaving for the port in half an hour. I can't wait to get lots of info on the "new and improved" Wonder, since this is the first time we will see it since dry dock. Since our last cruise was a "hurricane cruise," I'm looking forward to getting back to a nice, normal sailing.

So true, during the CC reception on our last cruise, the Captain also added, "these people have spent more time onboard than some of our cruise staff".

We're baaaack!
It was an absolutely "wonder"ful journey, although I was glad we flew out the night before because the flights were an absolute mess in Chicago. We were lucky...our delay was only about two hours. We met others doing connections through Atlanta (which was messed up even worse) who had no idea if their flights would even be going out. I sure hope they all made it to their destinations that night!
I'll hopefully have a trip report soon. We did the beer tasting in Diversions and checked out Cove Cafe (I was too embarrassed to go back for a coffee because Tony managed to knock over one of the tables while taking photos and broke the menu holder!). The Christmas decorations were out, but they weren't doing the tree lighting on Castaway Cay yet. Look for the "deer tail" on the tram...it's a riot!
Lots of large family groups on board the ship...it was neat to see three generations in many enjoying the Wonder together. Since the hurricane broke our streak, we're now "one for one" on making it to Castaway Cay.
