Off Kilter's Last Day is September 27

Well,I'm not going down without a fight.

I will write Disney and let them know that OK is considered a favorite "attrraction" at WDW to many Guests.

Getting rid of OK is on the same level as getting rid of Space Mountain, etc. to many Guests.

OK is not just "entertainment"-they are a beloved ATTRACTION!:)

It probaly won't do any good, but maybe,if enough people write Disney,it will get back to OK and make them know they are very special to a lot of folks.

I am going to send my email directly to Epcot's VP.

I just sent my email, and I'm pretty sure they'll be able to tell that I'm not at all pleased with their decision. IDIOTS!

Sadly the idiot who made the initial decision will never know how many people are upset and writing in -- nor does he care. He will remain proud of himself for fixing something -- that wasn't broken.

I usually don't use foul language - unless someone steals my umbrella on a rainy day at Epcot, and then Tourettes kicks in! :rotfl2: Fortunately for me - the filters here will get me if I try to express how I REALLY feel about the #$%^&*()_)(*&^%$ at WDW Entertainment who made this decision! :furious: Glad I can be as mouthy as I want to be on Facebook!

I knew it. I just KNEW it. I knew they were going to get axed. It was only a matter of when. Disney is on a tireless and relentless march to take away everything we've loved that was included with your park admission. I'm angry.

This is a sad sad day. I hope everyone else in entertainment at the parks is watching their back.

Could not possibly agree more. Prices continue to skyrocket while what we actually GET for our money declines at the same rate. I'm an Annual Passholder but am really rethinking that right now, and I live 10 minutes from the parks. FURIOUS.

I just renewed my AP so I am stuck for another 10 months.

I'd be a lot happier to see Disney World replacing things at Epcot that actually need replacing (like Journey into Imagination) rather than removing acts like Off Kilter which are loved by so many. As for the new lumberjack show, if you've seen one you've seen 'em all--ax throwing, pole climbing, log rolling, etc. And I'm not sure why lumberjacking is considered specifically Canadian. It's not like no other countries chop down trees! :confused3

Can't wait until Avatar Land opens up so that I can watch a thrilling show on deforestation at the Canadian Pavilion on Tuesday and then get overwhelmed with environmental activism at Avatar Land on Wednesday. :rotfl2:

By the time it opens, everyone on earth might be blue, and Avatar will no longer be an attraction!!

Have I got an attraction for YOU!

(Ever see "Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable" at The Land Pavilion in Epcot?)

:sad2:

Speaking as someone who reads threads and posts answers to questions every week (nearly every day) of my life, for years and years, on this board...

I keep up with the changes that affect my guest experience and the guest experience of others.

I've seen more horrifically arbitrary downgrading changes in the past 3-4 years than ever in my decades of Disney trips.

Losing more and more (and more) options all the time.

I can't do justice to listing all of the game-changing downgrades.

And, yes, the forcing of FP+ on guests (without adequate CM training nor competent software design) is just one headliner.

So many little things that have been simply REMOVED without a balance of additions to compensate.

Lights of Winter, anyone?

Little things that added so much joy… things that MATTERED in a WDW vacation.

One bright spot...
They did rebuild a new theater and reopen Festival of the Lion King at DAK.
(No need for that 6-month shutdown in-between… but hey, it DID finally reopen.)

Oh, and they returned the Fantasmic! schedule back to nightly.
That was good.
I hear you. Glad that there are a couple of things that you like. Maybe Avatarland won't stink!? Not my favorite idea, though... :(

I assume you didn't include this bit in the letter... ;)

How DARE you?! They replant those trees, Mr.! :lmao:

Careful there, those are fighting words to some folks. I still remember, years ago, the emphatic raging outcry of the Disney fan community when Disney dared to mess with their beloved Figment.:lmao:

Lesson: Disney will never be able to make all of the people happy all of the time. :confused3

Close! I said, "I can't believe someone in your department was STUPID enough to decide that Off Kilter (along with Mo'Rockin', World Showcase Players, and the Fife & Drum Corps) should go at the end of September - only to be replaced by a LUMBERJACK show!"

……. Then instead of Flower and Garden in the Spring and Food and Wine in the Fall, we'll get Spring Food and Wine (featuring bring your own flowers) and Fall Food and Wine (featuring over 100 hard-ticket add-ons!)

Fall Food and Wine (featuring bring your own bottle, we will levy a corkage charge) :)

Have I got an attraction for YOU!

Once. And as they say....fool me once...

:scared1:

I don't know... I'm not quite sure I can tell what you REALLY think... :lmao:

AMEN!

....and flag wavers and berbers, authentic ones even. :cool1:

Are you serious? Apparently not or you wouldn't have tempered your comment with your regularly scheduled lmao.

After stripping a mountainside bare and ruining the local ecology, they replant with a monoculture so they can come back in 20 years and repeat the procedure. How is that the same as a biologically diverse and ecologically balanced natural forest?

Celebrating the lumber industry with a "thrill show" seems pretty hypocritical of a corporation who is touting itself as being so environmentally aware and sensitive.
