Off Kilter's Last Day is September 27

Apparently Disney wants to replace them and Mo'Rockin with more "traditional" entertainment from their country of origin-- but in the case of Off Kilter, it's STUPID--- because people are too dumb to know the history of Canada- Nova Scotia in particular-- HELLO-- Look at the name Nova Scotia and you SEE "new Scotland"- after the second Jacobite rebellion when the clans were crushed at Culloden there was a MASSIVE wave of emigration to Canada. And some Scots who were transported to America afterwards moved to Canada after their indentured servitude was up. Now I know it's not Disney's business to give people a history lesson-- but it's like even THEY aren't aware of this fact. The CM who told me this couldn't have been more shocked when I said that Off Kilter made sense in the Canada pavilion as opposed to the UK pavilion.

This is sad news for Off Kilter-- mostly because it's mostly for the wrong reasons.

I am shocked, sad, and mad. We are huge Off Kilter fans and plan many of our EPCOT days around their schedule. I can't imagine that anything Disney comes up with for the Canadian Pavilion can hold a candle to the entertainment value that OK provided. BAD MOVE, Disney.

There is a discouraging trend of Disney discontinuing highly beloved terrific live acts at the same time they are creating ever greater numbers of extra cost parties and events. I was listening to Off Kilter today and thinking that they are so popular that they would be safe from the wave of changes. So sad!

I love Off Kilter, this makes me so sad. There are so many changes at once, it makes me worry about what we'll hear about next.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Off Kilter & MoRockin are part of our Disney experience! In fact, there are some visits that we would skip Epcot all together except for the fact that Off Kilter is playing that day & we want to see them!
