I will write myself a note to ask about the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs and pass on the St Patty's day message!

Yes, please tell them how much they are missed! They have more fans than they know! We appreciated not only their musical talent but their showmanship as well. Their music made the park atmosphere more festive, and now that they're gone the Canada pavilion seems quiet and sad.

British Revolution is a mass hit, they are stellar and UK is always packed with happy people.

Canada doesn't have a chainsaw massacre. All I saw were guys running on a log like a balancing act, as I walked by...

Hang around a while next time.. Soon you too will be treated to the ROAR of chainsaws while Disney destroys yet another tree with "chainsaw carving" And the fun ax throwing competition!

Let's think about this. Over at AK we have an ENTIRE ride dedicated to "how bad it is to deforest" and over at Epcot we have a show that shows why you have to deforest so that you can do this useless demonstration. Guess Disney's "environmental" concern has a limited reach! LOL

I am not sure the Voyagures will be back after the addition of the "swimming pool" to the stage Plus since several of the guys now have "Real world" full time jobs it's unlikely you would get all of them :(

Awesome-I'm planing a trip for that week!:)

How far would the gig be from the All-Star Sports "end" of WDW?

Thanks.:)

You are going to need a car. I looked into Mears Taxi from the general Disney area to Winter Garden and it was $60 each way (Uber might be cheaper, but...)

You know, there's trees and there's trees. Most of the logs, lumber and paper products we use are completely renewable resources. Many species of short lived tree grow very fast and very large, and are replanted to be cut down again another year. I have many friends who've worked up North replanting trees.

I can pretty much guarantee you, there was no "deforestation" involved in the acquisition of those logs used in the show, any more than there is when you purchase a log to burn in your fireplace or pick up some planks at the hardware store to build yourself a back deck.

People don't seem to understand that not all trees are thousand year old redwoods. We even had people protesting the removal some trees that the city had planted in the eighties, until the forestry commission pointed out that they'd almost reached their natural lifespans already and several were dying. The willows only live about 25 years, and the maples are lucky if they make it to 50! So digging them up to build transit, then replacing them with new ones, is hardly destroying an irreplaceable resource.

If you take the time to explain, kids can easily understand the distinction between farming trees and clear cutting pristine wilderness. Just as they know there's a difference between eating a burger and murdering Bambi's mom. Or enjoying your crab cakes and going after Sebastian with a cleaver. ;) (Theoretically, anyway...)

Did anyone get a chance talk to the guys yesterday at Cedar Point? Thanks!:)

Just watched Off Kilter at Cedar Point- they were great. Sadly the guys ran off after their set and couldn't talk to them so I chatted with the ladies at the sales table. They are very very sad about leaving Epcot and one lady told me she went to Epcot last week wearing an Off Kilter shirt and not one person said a thing. I told them about the Dis group of fans and that some of you will be seeing them at Universal. She said the chance to tour other places is nice but again they miss Epcot. They said someone was videotaping their show today and posting it to You tube later. She also mentioned their Facebook page. I am going to look that up now.

Thanks for the report!:)

I just watched the youtube videos-nice to see Billy Varnes playing with the guys!

I see they are keeping their "later years" Disney look with Billy and Jason wearing pants.

Long live the Off Kilter band!!!!:)

I was so excited this morning when I saw them in the schedule then realized they were there in the 5th and 6th :( would have loved to have seen them at Cedar Point

To each their own, I guess. I bought into the hype and couldn't wait until our park touring schedule put us at the Canadian pavilion in time to catch their show. I moved on after a song and a half. For the record, I am a Canadian who has enjoyed many a great pub band at home playing this style of music. I do feel for their large fan base, though...always hard to see a favourite go and worse, be replaced with a much less appealing alternative.

Perhaps they are enjoying new venues and changes of scenery!

Ooh, they are at Pat O'Briens! I wish that we could be there.
