My 3 year old is use to a sound machine while he sleeps (ok, so am I) I am thinking of packing it in my checked bag, do you think it will survive the trip? I was thinking of using bubble wrap.

It will be fine, even without bubble wrap. We always travelled with one when our kids were infants and it was never a problem.

I travel with mine (in my checked bag) and have never had a problem. I put it in the middle of my suitcase, surrounded by clothes. I haven't wrapped it in bubble wrap, and it was just fine.

I think some of the resorts have them in the rooms...I'm pretty sure POP had them when we were there.

We packed one when we stayed at the POFQ this summer. It made the trip fine-just by packing it in the middle of the suitcase-no bubble wrap needed.

I would have never thought to ask the hotel if they had something like that. Great tip.

Same as PPs, I took mine to Hawaii......Phila to Salt lake, Salt Lake to Maui, Maui to Oahu, Oahu to Big Isalnd, Big Island to Kauai, back to Oahu to Salt Lake and home to Philly again!!!! It was in the checked luggage the whole time and no problems. It was great to have on the trip.

I don't remember seeing them at any WDW resort, have stayed at WL, POFQ and All Stars.......If you find out that any resorts have sound machines, please let us know!Tia!!!!!

I always have to have a sound machine...but have found the A/C in the rooms is more than loud enough to lull me to sleep!

You can request one when you make your reservation or call back and add it to your reservation
