So I admit this is going to sound crazy but I wanted to check anyway. Is it true that lager on Castaway is served in Beach Friendly bottles? If so is it any lager or specific ones and any bar or specific ones? Anyone know if you can take the empty bottles back on to the ship or not (Im assuming you can't board with an open one)

I believe Budweiser is served on the CC. It is the "Great American Lager".

Michelob Ultra was served in aluminum cans

Corona was served in plastic bottle that had a funnel on top for the lime

I would think you would be able to bring the empties back on the ship, but why would you want to do that?

Are the Corona bottles new? They didn't have them in November when I was on CC, but I didn't bother going ashore for very long in February.

I drank Bud Lime and Mich Ultra because of the aluminum bottles. I would have preferred something else, but when it's hot I really don't care.

Not sure if they are new or not, but I was at CC last Friday and thats what they were served in.

My Dad collects unusual beer bottles and I thought it might be a good souvenir as probably going to have a lager anyway! Would only be doing it for a unique bottle which was why when I saw someone mention that they have "beach friendly" bottles and a photo of one I thought tht might be a good idea. I think it must have been the corona ones but can't find where I saw it now!

The Corona bottles are unique. At least, I've never seen them until a few weeks ago.
