Odd ADR availability this morning

I'm glad to find this thread. I tried to book dining at Epcot this morning for 12/3 and couldn't get anything! We really wanted Teppan Edo or Garden Grill--could not get either. I went online and put in different configurations of people...absolutely nothing available from 2-7 p.m. There was one Teppan Edo at 7:40 but then we would probably miss the start of Reflections. I ended up taking Biergarten as a back up. I don't find it appealing at all but DH has always wanted to go there. I sure hope they open up some space at Teppan Edo or Garden Grill!

Oh, also thought I would mention...had NO problems booking anything else. Got everything we wanted, right at the times we wanted, including some more popular places like 1900 Park Faire and Ohana. I was really panicking thinking WDW was going to be totally mobbed that week based on the lack of ADR's at Epcot, so now at least I have hope that it won't be too bad. ;)

Yeah, I didn't have problems with anything either other than Epcot. Right now we've got a late dinner at La Hacienda and lunch at Teppan Edo, but I really wanted Le Cellier or Rose & Crown for lunch and a more normal dinner time for La Hacienda. Everything else was easy even for a party of 6. I just hope that when the CP details are finalized there will be some opportunity for those of us who don't want to do the package to book the blocked-out Epcot locations/times.

Yep we have a party of 7 and all of our reservations were easy-breezy except for Epcot. I thought maybe it was because of Pop Warner week...whew! Definitely hope they don't block everything, though. I don't think my younger son would appreciate CP (and that's putting it mildly) so we're not going. Don't I get point for keeping him away from there so others can enjoy the show? That should at least be worth a reservation at Garden Grill! :lmao:

Went back and went through all possible days we could do Epcot to get an ADR at Le Cellier (our favorite). Got 2 dinner ones :yay: would have preferred lunch, but at least we have something and now I can play around and try to find better times after CP comes out.

We took a Biergarten for lunch too. We do like it there. ::yes::

So ended up with WCC, LTT, 'Ohana, Biergarten, Chefs de France, 2 x Le Cellier, 50's Prime Time, Sci Fi, RFC/AK, Saana, CA Grill, Bongos, HoB.

:rotfl: :rotfl: If it was I'd be right there with you! My almost-3yo is wonderfully patient as long as she's got food in front of her and/or someone to chat with, but she's not in any way ready for something like CP! Heck, getting through Tangled in the theatre was a challenge.

Actually, that leads me to a question for folks who have done the CP package before - is it possible to hand off the voucher the way you can with the F! package if you decide not to catch the show? Are the tickets/vouchers individual or one for the whole party?

Yes you could hand off the vouchers. The tickets last year were individual. The server gave them to us at the end of the meal. They are large peel off back stickers to put on your shirt or jacket so the CM letting people in can see them easily and keep the line moving.

Hmmm, that might be the way to go then. I'm sure my mom would love to see the show and we could just hand off the other passes to someone who would use them. We've got credits to spare (DxDDP) so it would be worth doing if it means better ressie times/options.
