October Weather

What is the weather like in October? We will be there Oct. 29th. Can we plan on swimming or is it too cool? Thanks!

October is usually a beautiful month in Orlando. We were there last year & swam every day.

We went the last week of Ocotober in 2002 and it was BEAUTIFUL weather!

We have gone twice in October and it can get really warm during the day! I am not complaining though better than cold. Beautiful weather and lots of sunshine and great for swimming.

I love going to WDW in October,,especially for Halloween.
The weather is EXCELLENT. Gorgeous!! Its not oppresively hot (but hot, nevertheless) where you dont want to do anything. I go swimming all the time while Im there..In fact..last Oct I went to Typhoon Lagoon. The weather was awesome for the whole 7 days I was there. On Halloween I was sweltering under my costume..I went as Maleficent. dont miss MNSSHP!!

On a rare occasion, I wore a very light cover up in the evening, but 90% of the time, it was t shirt only weather.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!

October is our favorite time of year to go. We've always been able to swim and visit the waterparks.

Sure wish we could go in October this year instead of July in the heat !!

We went in October 2000 and the weather was fine. We had one shower in 2.5 weeks. We were able to wander around in shorts and t.shirts, tho as to swimming, the pool at our rental villa wasn't heated, so was a trifle chilly. We were told to pack warm clothes for the evenings, but at Mickeys not so scary Haloween on the 31st, we were still wearing short sleeves at midnight! So as far as us Brits go, it was fantastic weather.

While reading your post I was really surprised. You only had one shower in 2.5 weeks - phew-w-w-e-e-y-y-y

Left myself open for that eh? No we had just one rain shower - at Epcot, lasted about 10 minutes, came from nowhere and disappeared as fast as it came. We "sheltered" under a brolly (umbrella for those who are not English) and then carried on round the lake. October is fun!
