October weather?

What is the weather like at the beginning of October? Still hot enough for the water parks?

We went last October 19th-26th and boy, was it hot (85-90 and humid)! Local folks told us that this was "cool" for them at that time of year!

I'm from the NE, so this was steamy for me, but great pool weather.

We were at the world at the end of October on our first trip. The first couple of days it was cool, high about 65 (18 c). We still were in the pool at the Poly, even at night when the temps dropped a little. The breeze coming off the 7 Seas lagoon were nippy, but how do you keep kids out of the water?

Most of the trip it was very comfortable and the weather cooperated with our plans for taking advantage of the pool.

You will love it there in October - the crowds are a bit thinner and it's lots of fun being in MK at Halloween time! MNSSHP is great fun, if you're thinking of buying tickets.

We have been the early/mid October a few times and have had some lovely weather and have been to water parks. The only exception was a couple of cold days in 2000, but it was unusual weather for the time of year.
