I know there are people out there waiting for their October waitlists...

I'm waiting for ONE night...October 19 in a 1BR P/G at BWV...

...who else is anxiously stalking the website??

I'm waiting for one night .... October 16th in a 1 bedroom BCV (I already have a 1 bedroom at BCV for October 15th) -- I'm holding a 1 bedroom at BWV P/G for October 16th which will get released if my waitlist comes through. (which will go to someone's waitlist I'm sure).

I missed my day by minutes, so hopefully I'm not too far down the list. Yes I do check the site regularly, but not a lot of movements for October. Glad I'm not trying to get a studio....wow....not many of those left.

Thanks. We are doing a 4 night cruise. Coming in on Saturday. The cruise leaves Monday and we get back on Friday. Then we check into BWV studio for 9 nights.

My 20th anniversary trip is Oct 7-15. Right now I have 7-9 and 10-15 at BWV. I have the 10th at SSR. My waitlist was longer, but I was able to get all of the other days. So now I am waiting for a one bedroom for the 10th. I am pretty sure that it will come through but still a little bit nervous.

I have a bwv waitlist as well. I don't expect it to open but in the event it does after the 180 mark, what will happen to the adrs if the original reservation is canceled?

So happy to see this, as I need some companionship and emotional support! Long story short, I've been piecing together 6 nights in grand villas for 10/9-10/15. I was able to get 10/11, 10/12 and 10/14 in AKV Jambo, which is what we want for everything. Currently have an SSR GV 10/9-10/10 that I'd like to switch out to AKV. I also had 10/13 and 10/14 in BLT GV as a backup with a waitlist for AKV on 10/13. Had DVC site massive frustration just this morning where I was unable to book an AKV 2 bedroom that was showing as available for 10/13, but after I cancelled BLT it errored out and now I am reservationless for 10/13 . I could rant about this for hours but sadly it's not going to fix anything. I'm probably going to book 2 cash rooms just so we have SOMETHING for the middle of the week in case no waitlists come through.

So, we're waitlisted for either a 2 bedroom AKV Jambo or an AKV Jambo GV for the night of 10/13. Would love to WL 10/9 and 10/10 if I'm ever able to free up one of the 10/13 WLs.

Can't wait to hear about the additional successes of others so I can have hope!! Good luck everyone.

Do you have enough points to waitlist BLT while keeping an SSR reservation for the 3 nights? This is my first experience with wait listing, but I've been doing a lot of reading up on it, and it sounds like it's much harder to get 3 nights in a row than one at a time. So if you've got the points maybe book SSR for the 3 nights, wait list 10/1 and 10/2 (or more if you have multiple use years and are able to) and then shorten your SSR as you (fingers crossed) pick up the BLT? I did find out today that you can have MS change the comments on your waitlist if the reservation you are replacing changes without losing your place in the wait list line. Hope that all made sense.

Your ADRs are unaffected. I've had a few waitlist come through during my DVC life and neither FP+ or ADRs have been affected. However, I have the worse luck with waitlist. I've probably waitlisted 10 times during my DVC lifetime and always for 1 night. I think I've only had 3 come through.....I generally don't have any luck, but I keep trying.

Nothing, once you are able to make your ADRs, they are tied to you not the room reservation. All the room reservation potentially gets you is the 180+ 10 perk. At 180 everyone can book whether or not they're staying onsite.

But I should also mention - if you make your FP+ reservations at 60 days before and a wait list comes through after that, those could potentially be tied to your reservation (depends on if you have more than one reservation I think). If you were to make them at 30 days when anyone offsite can make them, you wouldn't lose them as they'd be like ADRs.

Instead of only WL the days we couldn't get, we decided to do the whole week to prevent a split stay. So we are WL for AKV Kidani 2BR Oct 7-15. I just didn't want to risk having to move 4 kids (2,2,4,6) and all the food we will have bought. Plus, I'm already coming down early to stay with my 4 year old at Poly for 2 nights, so the thought of moving a third time is not appealing at all.
Fingers crossed we get it. My husband and dad are thrilled we get to stay at OKW, but I really want to be back at Kidani! I've resigned myself to the fact it would take a small miracle to get in at this point, so I'm just happy my Poly WL came through (WL Oct 5-7 right at 7 months, it came through the next day).

I have a WL @ BCV for a standard view and a garden/pool view studio for 10/7 (I had one WL filled for a garden/pool view for 10/6)

Mark us down for a PVB WL for 3 nights in mid October. Although if we don't get it we will be happy with SSR and being able to explore the changes at Disney Springs.

Add me to the list at BWV! Looking for a studio 10/23 & 10/24. I have 10/22, 10/25-10/27. I have a 1 bedroom booked for all nights, but hoping for the studio to come through

Kind of crazy (sad) how little October seems to be moving from a wait list perspective. I'm still hopeful some folks just put down "placeholders" since October is so busy, but will adjust their travel closer to the date..... fingers crossed!

I won't give up hope, but I think my only hope right now is that someone cancels due to an emergency or airfare that just doesn't fit into their budget. Since I'm looking for a Wednesday (right smack in the middle of a week), I am not too optimistic that it is a start/end day that someone may just randomly drop.
