I was reading this thread yesterday and it looked like there has been some movement at BWV. I had waitlisted a
studio or 1 bed any view back in May and havent heard anything.
We had lots of friends and family decide to join us this trip do to our

adopting a baby. Sooooo we ended up with
4 reservations all over the place.
We are staying at BWV and had a waitlist for my BIL and his 2 children. They are currently at BCV Oct 24-27. We would just love to have them in the same building as us.
SO to the point....It seems that the last time I called to add some friends they had 3 of the 4 nights we needed at bcv so we took it and waitlisted for the last night. That came thru, but then
they cancelled the other waitlist!!!!!

I almost had a heart attack when they told me that I didnt have anyone on a waitlist.
As it turns out, they dont do the waitlist per reservation # just by the dates.

since I had two waitlists for the same period, it seems someone assumed it was taken care of.

The supervisor I spoke with understood my frustration and explained their system, she could see from the notes that the error was on their end and said they would do their best to take care of us.

I would like to point out that she couldnt have been nicer and really seemed to want to help us.
She said they had seen lots of movement in the last week and felt like we still had a good shot at our waitlist.
I know we are covered since we do have the studio at BCV for them, but was just stunned to learn that the waitlist are handled the way they are. I know we are not the only people who add rooms where they can get them, and then wait list to pull everyone onto the same resort.
So make a note, call often if you have more than one room waitlisted to manage!
p.s. the supervisor I spoke with did mention that not everyone is good at taking notes when speaking to a guest. In the future if I have something complicated like this again, I will ask for them to please keep notes of my calls and requests.
