I'm waiting for October 7th, too! I'm sort of freaking out, actually! The clock is ticking! I'm waiting for a 2-bedroom at OKW.

We're at a BWV studio from Oct. 4 thru the 6th with waitlisted for the 7th. We didn't have DVC points available when booking for this reservation so we rented from another member in April. October 7th was not available so the member waitlisted the 7th for BWV studio back then in April stating they would pay cash for that night if the waitlist didn't come through. I guess BWV really books up early for the Food & Wine Celebration.

Since I'm not allowed to check our reservation and I haven't heard from the other DVC member since the begining of August I'm just getting a little anxious. I hope it all works out.

I paid for 2 studios with cash at OKW for the 7th, but if the 2-bedroom comes through it will save me a lot of $$ and headache! I obsessively look at dvcmember.com to see if my reservation has been updated!

Boston: We're at AKV (on my own points) from October 8-15 so if you are there on the 12th you will be at AKL when we're there too.

I can't check the website for our waitlist at BWV because the reservation was made by another DVC'er. You are fortunate that you can check the website to see if your waitlist comes through but I bet that can be nerveracking too. Here's some pixie dust in the hope that our waitlists will come through.

If my waitlist for BWV would come through it would free up a 2 BR at OKW on the 7th for you! As I stated before, though, I'm not too optimisitc for mine. Good luck!

Lori: I really hope your BWV waitlist comes thru! --- I'd be one step closer to my OKW 2 bedroom....and we'd both be happy campers, or dissers! I"m keeping my fingers crossed, though I don't think it's going to happen.

I just checked, nothing yet. I know I would have had a better chance if I had waitlisted a day at a time instead of the whole period, but my parents will be with us and I didn't want to chance having to move. If it had been just DH, the kids and me I would have, as we don't mind moving, but it would be too much hassle with six of us. It's probably for the best, as I think OKW is more my parents' style, but DH and I thought it would be great to be at BWV for the F&WF!

luckily, I"m just in the studio for the first night of our trip, and then we do get into the 2-bedroom for the rest. Having to move won't be too bad, since it's the same resort. It would be terrible if we had to go from a 2bedroom to studios, back to a 2-bedroom! ugh! So, I don't feel *that* terrible if the waitlist doesn't come thru--but I'd rather use points and get the bigger place (6 of us), than having to pay for 2 studios. Oh, well. Either way, I can't wait to go! Still debating on the F&WF though.

Momsully, I hope your waitlist for AKV comes through for you. It would be great to have another Coloradoan at AKV while we're there (Oct 8-15). How old are your kids? We're leaving part of the family home this time. This trip it's only me and one DS. He'll be turning 15 (a young 15) the day we check into AKV. We'll be dining at Boma for dinner that evening.

We are booked at a studio at SSR for October 20-28th and waitlisted for a studio at BWV or BCV for same time period. We also know it's a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to try!

Don't give up hope. It might come through yet. My DH is not much of a Disney nut either. You and your boys will love the Family Magic Tour. We did in with our boys in Dec. 2000. Their ages then were 8, 8, and 6 (almost 7), the same ages as your boys!

We went on the waitlist for 2bdr at SSR on 7/19. Was told there were NO 2bdr anywhere for that date! Came through last week, but now 10/19 is all booked. I'm just getting really worried about how crowded it's going to be.

Hm. Now I'm getting worried. Still waitlisted since *7/16* for 1BR @SSR 10/18. Staying 10/14-10/17 there, just waiting on last night of trip. Fret, fret, fret...

Hi, I checked on my Wait List(Oct.18th studio) at 1pm today still nothing. So I asked if any other DVC resorts had a Studio for the 18th and there was NOTHING. I am thinking of listing all resorts for this one night.Can I do this?? Right now I am wait listed for SSR the 1 nite and every other resort for the whole vacation.(4 nites) I really want to use points and not have to do a cash night. Thanks, Joan

We're wait listed for a studio Oct 29 - Nov 2 at either BC, BWV or AKV. We've got a studio at SSR which is great. It'd be nice to be at one of the Epcot resorts for F&W and then it'd be cool to stay at one of the new villas a AKL too. Either resort will really be fine and we'll just leave it up to fate!lol Staying at the Contemporary MK View Tower on the 27 & 28, handy for MNSSHP.

Anyone waitlisted at BWV for Oct.7 having any luck with your request coming through?

Just found out that our 4 1/2 month old waitlist for the night of Oct 7 (BWV studio) just came through! Getting close to that 31 day out for waitlists can sometimes be nervewracking.

We are excited, 4 nights at BWV then 7 nights at AKV! We've never stayed at either of these two DVC resorts before so we're really looking forward to enjoying the resorts as well as the parks. First stop after check-in? Why it's the Keister Coaster Slide of course! Been wanting to do that for years. Can't Wait.
