called member services today and was very surprised to find out that there are very few two bedrooms left for the end of october. we like to stay at one of the epcot resorts and instead had to get two one bedrooms.
i suppose its my own fault for not calling on the very first eligible day, but i have never run into this before and this makes october trip #5.

I would try November instead of April to make Oct reservations. I am surprised you got anything at this late date. They have a golf tournament down there in October perhaps you ran into that also.

I also called last week to book our first trip home for the end of october and had to waitlist for 2 of our days for a studio at BCV so I asked her to look at BWV and there were not any studios preferred or standard view there. I was also surprised. Guess we are going to have to plan even earlier next time. We are going for our yearly Food and Wine Festival trip but this will be our first time as DVC members.
I also booked our first Christmas at WDW and had no problem getting Wilderness Lodge studio however it's my home resort so I'm before the 7 month on that one.
I'm just so excited and October is such a long time away!

I think over the last couple of years, the F&W festival and MNSSHP have both gotten more popular. And with both going on at the same time...
