October People: When Are You Going to Start Packing????

Brought the big suitcase out over this past weekend - going to do most of the packing this weekend except for a few last minute odds and ends. DH packs his own and he will probably wait until the night before - he's a bit of a procrastinator with packing.

Loved reading about all you people that are still wearing your summer clothes ! ! Haven’t worn my stuff for a couple of weeks. I have a wool jacket on today! Any way….I’ve started with a pile in the family room. The suite cases are down, but fortunately can’t be packed because we are heading to Cannon Beach for a few days. My hat if off to all you people that can pack the day before…..

Have had a copier paper box accumulating things in the bottom of my closet for a while now (first aid kit, Sharpies, sunscreen, etc), but don't think the suitcases will come out until a couple of days before. DD12 has already done a "test pack" that I've had to help with.

Think I'll go home tonight and make a pass through that copier box and make a list of its contents (after Survivor premiere tho') LOL

I haven't started packing yet, but have started planning. It will be a tougher pack since after that we visit family in Indiana and have to pack for that trip (weather) in the same luggage!

Just bought another large suitcase today.

I won't pack until Tuesday when they are in school and DH is working- this way I can under pack and then get down there and say -- OOpps I must have forgot that or I swore I packed it!!

thatway we can get some new Disney/Universal stuff!!!

We fly early Wed. 10/6 so we'll pack the weekend before. I have started my lists of items not to forget. We did buy a new suitcase last weekend.
