Hi guys,
I'm trying to work out if it is cheaper for us to book everything separately, especially since I have £1000 off any Virgin Holiday voucher.

Does anyone have any experience of flight prices for October (middle/end)?

There's a free dining offer on disneyworld.co.uk so I'd really like to book the hotel/tickets before July but I'm nervous that I wont get cheap flights.

Does anyone know when I should start looking for flights for October 2010?
We would like to go from Manchester but can get to London for the right price.

As usual any advice would be GREATLY appreciated :thumbsup2

Go to KAYAK.COM. Great site that auto searches all airlines for you to find the cheapest option.

We live within 1 hour of Manchester but last Oct it was worth the 3 hours to Heathrow.
Booked 7th July and paid £240 each($478 with Orbitz.com) Flew out Thursday, October 23 and returned Friday, October 31. out with NWA, back with Delta (now merged)

This year keep looking at Wed 21st to Sat 31st Oct 2009 (doubt we will go be keep looking for a bargain) nothing much under £350 (Lon) £400 (Man) yet.

If you can go before school hols then Delta from Manchester have resonable prices eg 6th Oct for 15 nights Or Continental same price on 7th Oct for 14 nights. £308 pp one stop good flight times. Further on in the month it goes up withschool hols but still lots of time for sales yet.

Would probably be better using Kayak.co.uk from UK. Thats where I just got above prices from:thumbsup2

I've just booked leaving on October 26th returning on November 6th, with Northwest via Detroit (returning via Minneapolis), for £312.00 per adult. This was through Expedia (although ebookers and opodo also had this price).

Couple this to the excellent deals on the Disney website, where we're staying at Saratoga Springs with free dining for £2222.00 (plus £219.00 each for tickets), and we're a happy bunch!

Did you book via a casback site? Quidco give 1% back for Expedia bookings. :thumbsup2

Thanks for your replies :thumbsup2

I've devided that I'm going to book with Virgin as I have a £1000 off voucher with them and I just don't think I'm going to beat that price.

Thanks again for all your help :goodvibes
