so does this mean possibly if FD is released tomorrow that AP discounts would be the day after -- is that the trend we are hoping for? I wish Disney would send you an email the minute an AP discount was available! I'm new to the AP discount thing and feel like I am stalking the passholder discount website waiting for a discount!! hahaha

AP discounts are out! Oct 3 to Dec 24!

I booked Oct 20-30, no discounts for BC, YC or POFQ but I did get BWI standard room for $2561.61

What really stinks is there is no overlap between the two AP deals. I have a reservation at GF from 9.27-10/2 but I am running the half marathon on 10/1. I need to extend the dates to 10/4 or so but the AP deals run til 10/1 and then the new one starts 10/3. Really is being difficult.

Exactly my problem!!! We're booked 9/28 to 10/3 - the old discount gave me about 25% off (not great, but something at least) for 9/28 to 10/2, but the night of 10/2 is rack rate. I can't afford that - guess I'll have to come home Sunday The only problem with that is the airfare is much more $$ on Sunday - this is a major pain!! Why would they black out that one day?????

In January I booked under the late summer/early fall discount at BCV. I booked 9/28 to 10/2/11. I still need the night of 10/2/11 since our flight home is on 10/3/11. I'll keep watching for both AP or Public codes for any resort..

Well I'm out of luck for the one day 10/2. I'll just have to keep therental car and visit my sister again, who just moved to The Villages, FL on 5/15. I've already seen the new house but DH has not. Our flight home is also Monday 10/3 since the flight $$ were cheaper. I was hoping to get a good rate on the last day of our stay on Sunday 10/2 but no luck yet.

I was hoping for Club Level at the Boardwalk but only Garden Suites were available. The AP Discount on the Garden Suites with the Club Level was cheaper than our rack rate standard room so we took the plunge and booked it. But if standard Club Level rooms pop up, we'll cancel and rebook.

Anyone know if there is any chance of any other room categories popping up as we get closer to the dates? We are going during Food and Wine so I know the Epcot resorts are pretty booked but I did find it odd that nothing at all came up for the Yacht or Beach Club on the first day the discounts came out.

I've had room categories become available on me as I got closer to the trip! I think because people cancel, and also, Disney releases more rooms to help book up the resort!

Add me in as someone stuck in the 10/2 limbo!! We arrive on the 1st, but now we won't switch over the BWI until 10/3, we'll start the trip at POP and move over (Pop rack rate is more my budget lol) When I called, the CM said it was because WDW fiscal quarter starts 10/3 and thats when their "year" begins (it runs into 2012) Must have been an oversight from the previous discount, weird. Hopefully they'll correct it!!

I'm still so excited though!! WE ARE BOOKED AT THE BOARDWALK FOR FOOD AND WINE!!! AHHHHHH!!! I feel like part of an exclusive club lol
