Well...I have a busy morning planned...I would like to drive from WDW go to Wal-Mart and have the car dropped of by 9:30-9:45 and then of to port Not sure how it will work out but going to try anyway. Love getting on the ship right at lunch time last time...it was great! We had number 3 boarding and got there about 10:30.

We don't have much to do that morning. We're just getting up, heading for the port and getting on the ship. That's in less than 8 weeks!!! I can't wait!!!!

Hubby, DD(5 1/2) DS(almost 4) DS(almost 2), Papa and Nana and myself will be on this sailing and are soooo excited about it. Hi Alyson and welcome!! I was away for a few days and just saw your post. I just wanted to say that I love the spelling of your name. I have a dd(6) and her name is spelled exactly like yours. I also have a ds(8).

We don't have much to do that morning. We're just getting up, heading for the port and getting on the ship. That's in less than 8 weeks!!! I can't wait!!!!

If I didn't have the AKV booked before we rebooked the cruise we would have stayed at port...not big on driving for an hour the day of. Need to stop at Wal-Mart to get a few drinks and snack items...

They look great! In fact, I showed them to my hubby, and he is now coming around to the idea We might be rebellious about the colors though - I don't like orange on me, and DS LOVES orange, so kids might wear orange, grown ups in black. We are so wild over here

OK shirts are done and here they are:

A few things we did:

I did wash them before we made them so they are now ready to wear as is suggested. This way in case the iron-on goes bad in washing and cracks I got the first and most important wearing out of it!!

I had another T shirt nearby of both John's and mine and a ruler and we measured the logos on those to get the proper placement on these. That really helped cause guessing is never a good thing when it comes to me and measuring things

and lastly.. I am so embarrassed but.....

Did you know there is a backing you must peel off of the logo We didn't know and couldn't understand why they weren't sticking..

OK I know DUMB crafting moment and I am just sharing this totally embarrassing moment for those of you here that have never done this so you will know ahead of time..

Mocking is not needed, John will take care of that for all of you!!!! and Shell I told him if he does mock me alot he will find a bubble gum pink T shirt in his bag instead of the black one..

Happy to hear that Alex had a good time. My 14 yo daughter Stephanie was happy to have another girl to get to know and hopefully spend some time in the teen club as she is also kind of hesitant meeting people outside her comfort zone.

Alex is the same way, so it is great to have them get acquainted through chat! She is really happy to be able to go to The Stack (they had just changed the minimum age to 14 on our last cruise).

I wish I could be at chat on Wednesday, but I will be out of town for work. I leave tomorrow and will be home Thursday evening, so at least it's a quick trip!

I'll be at chat on Sunday though!

Ok, I just decided to bite the bullet and pay through the nose for airfare because I'm tired of worrying about it and I want to be done with it!! I have Southwest down to MCO out of Philly on Oct. 30 and Airtran back to Philly on Nov. 7.

Is anyone staying the night before at the Hyatt at MCO? I'm considering it. What are your night before hotel plans and what transportation are you using?

What AirTran flight on the 7th are you on? We are flying AirTran to Philly then as well.

For some new cruisers, wanted to put a plug in for the NJ meet and greet this upcoming weekend, Sept 12th. I need someone to post exact information because DH is not here right now and I do not know anything except I am getting in the car and going north!

I know it is on a previous post...but if someone could post it again so others do not have to search right now.

Also - All AirTran fliers... time to check your reservation again. We started in Feb flying home leaving at 1147. Every so often, we noticed the flight was earlier, and earlier, and earlier until last week it was 9:50. Went to AT website, and noticed they actually had a noon flight. called and got changed to a different flight. i guess Airtran website is on my list of website to check daily. I do get the email updates, but I do not seem to get them in a timely manner.

Sorry to hear about the 12th. I sent an e-mail with the info, but we totally understand if you don't want to do the drive.

As for AirTran, they have changed our flight down once already, and our flight back 3 times!. The good thing about the flight back is that we were originally on a flight around 8pm. When they change the time on you, you are allowed to request a total flight change if there are seats available without having to pay a change fee. We got ourselves on a flight around 3pm so now we don't have to wait in the airport all day.

Okay my turn to ask the question of the week: Who is dressing up for Halloween? Pirate night? Formal night?

We are still trying to decide. Pretty sure though we'll dress up for all. Just going to be hard to get everything ready without the girls having any idea

Kids are doing Halloween (simple costumes though)
Not sure about pirate night.
Most likely going formal (tux and all) for formal night.

No shorts in the main three dining rooms for any dinner meal for men or women is what DCL requests. Most children don't even wear them in there.. What you do is up to you, but DCL prefers none..

Two things.

We have not seen them on the discussion boards or on the chats in a while and everyone was asking for them. Hopefully all is well for them. Last anyone heard from them was right after Scott's injury with the chain saw. Hopefully he has fully recovered.

Also if you speak with them please remind them to confirm with renysmom if they are still planning on participating in the fishextender as the cutoff date to confirm participation is Sept 15.

I noticed that they do not show as confirming on the Crusie website.

Also do you know if they are palnning on attending the NJ Meet & Greet this Saturday in Woodbridge?

Formal night - just suits for guys, but formal outfits for ladies
Pirate night - tshirts

This weekend was very productive. Got all of our shirts done - cruiser shirts and pirate night shirts. Couldn't find orange shirts, so we decided to have our whole group in gray. They turned out great for my first time. (If I could ever figure out how to post anything I would show you. I still haven't even figured out how to add any "signature" to bottom.) Also, got 16 magnets made. Bought the stuff to make the fish extender gifts. Left to do - assemble FE gifts and iron on pictures on actual FEs.

I can't believe that I never thought of making my own shirts before. I even made an extra tshirt for my son for this Friday. We live in Iowa and this weekend Univ of Iowa plays Iowa State in football. Practically shuts down the state for about 3-4 hours. Anyway, I tried to find a tshirt for my son to wear to school on Friday. Do you think I could find one that was outrageously priced?!? Thanks to this, I found a cool clip art and made him one. YEAH!!

We are planning to rent a car from AVIS. My dad and DH will drop off the kids and moms, take the cars back and catch the shuttle. Still need to make the ressie for the van.

The chat has been great for hooking the kids up before we leave. I think all of them are more comfortable now that they 'know' someone that will be there with them.
