That would be fun!! We plan to be at MK by 4 or 5, so we can arrange before we get there (or use cell phones) to meet. :) The meet before the meet. LOL!:)
I like the idea too...maybe we'll head over early too...just had plan to go swimming at the AKV in the afternoon. Are you dressing up for the party?

If I had been here for a full year, I can't imagine how many posts this thread would have! LOL!!!!
Well last cruise I started of with 100 post and if you look at my count now that tell you how much I can talk in a year:goodvibes

Yes, yes, sort of. :) We're dressing for all of them, but I'm not sure how 'dressed' we will be (yes ... we will be fully *clothed* - Jeff and Eric ....). I'm trying to think simple for Halloween because we'll have to either have that on when we board or change early since we have main dining. I don't want to miss stuff because I have to change clothes. KWIM?? :)
I have the feeling most people will be dressed in there costumes for dinner like they do with pirate night.

Thanks Jamie! I think I'd prefer us to stay together when we return the rental car and do the shuttle with luggage together. Does anyone know where the car rental shuttle drops you off?

Another question, does anyone know if there will be trick or treating on the ship on Halloween?:confused3

Okay my turn to ask the question of the week: Who is dressing up for Halloween? Pirate night? Formal night?

We are still trying to decide. Pretty sure though we'll dress up for all. Just going to be hard to get everything ready without the girls having any idea:goodvibes

The whole family will be dressing in costumes for Halloween, as well as all will be in some form of Pirate Garb for Pirate night.

The whole family will be dressed for formal night, the girls will be wearing dresses and my wife Diane finally found her "dress" for formal night last week after I don't know how many she tried on in who knows how many stores. :confused3

I don't think that she tried on as many wedding dresses seventeen years ago! :rotfl2:

I will be ordering my rental tux for formal night through the cruise line this week once I get a chance to stop at the mall and get measured.

We're on the same flight going down on Southwest! :cool1: It leaves at 5:15 and arrives at MCO at 8:15pm. I was just about to make my ressie with Avis also. I was contemplating staying at the Hyatt at MCO?? I'll have to see about looking into the Radisson. :goodvibes

Just had the chance to confirm my flight schedule and we are definitely confirmed on the same flight, I will be traveling with my wife, dd-14 and
dd-11.

Ok, I just decided to bite the bullet and pay through the nose for airfare because I'm tired of worrying about it and I want to be done with it!! I have Southwest down to MCO out of Philly on Oct. 30 and Airtran back to Philly on Nov. 7.

Is anyone staying the night before at the Hyatt at MCO? I'm considering it. What are your night before hotel plans and what transportation are you using?

We are staying at the Hyatt at MCO. So are my mom, brother, sister-in-law, mother-in-law & father-in-law!

Yes there will be some type of Trick and Treat events for the kids. Shell heard from Concierge a few weeks ago and posted the email she received. It's about 5 pages back.

We have something for Halloween, not a costumer per say but something . We will be dressing up for formal night but not in Formal Dresses and Tux, I have a nice dress (much dressier than a work dress) and John will wear dress pants and shirt, maybe a tie.

Today we are making our cruise Tshirts.. Hope they work out on the first try   Will post pictures when done...

Hey Kelly,

On regular dinner nights can men wear shorts or no?

Kristen -

No shorts in the main three dining rooms for any dinner meal for men or women is what DCL requests. Most children don't even wear them in there.. What you do is up to you, but DCL prefers none..

I'm taking a stab it today, too. Being the most uncrafty in a very uncrafty family, we'll see what happens. Fortunately, I'm only out about $5/shirt if it goes horribly wrong.:rotfl2:

OK shirts are done and here they are:

A few things we did:

I did wash them before we made them so they are now ready to wear as is suggested. This way in case the iron-on goes bad in washing and cracks I got the first and most important wearing out of it!! :)

I had another T shirt nearby of both John's and mine and a ruler and we measured the logos on those to get the proper placement on these. That really helped cause guessing is never a good thing when it comes to me and measuring things

and lastly.. I am so embarrassed but.....

Did you know there is a backing you must peel off of the logo :rotfl2: We didn't know and couldn't understand why they weren't sticking..

OK I know DUMB crafting moment and I am just sharing this totally embarrassing moment for those of you here that have never done this so you will know ahead of time..

Mocking is not needed, John will take care of that for all of you!!!! and Shell I told him if he does mock me alot he will find a bubble gum pink T shirt in his bag instead of the black one..

Have fun making yours, one more thing off the list :cool1: :cool1:

Renysmom, the t-shirts are awesome!! Good job!:thumbsup2

Not sure if we're dressing up for Halloween, if we do, it'll just be my daughter (12) and I that do and it'll be something simple. We'll dress up for formal night, my husband will wear a suit, my daughter and I will wear nice dresses, my son will be tough to dress up. He hates it, :rolleyes1 but he'll wear tan trousers and a nice button down shirt and tie with shoes. I've got to start looking for a pair of size 12 dress shoes. We'll do semi formal also.

They picked us up right in front of the terminal where they take your luggage...they were dropping people off there for the next cruise at the time. What time are you planning to drop off your car?

They are great!:goodvibes

I'd like to drop off our car around 9:30-9:45. My plan is to arrive at the port at 10:00am. I'm hoping it works out this way, but I'm not sure since we haven't done the shuttle from the car rental before. How about you?

Well...I have a busy morning planned...I would like to drive from WDW go to Wal-Mart and have the car dropped of by 9:30-9:45 and then of to port:goodvibes Not sure how it will work out but going to try anyway. Love getting on the ship right at lunch time last time...it was great! We had number 3 boarding and got there about 10:30.
