I hope to be organized by then, but a calendar of events would be great.

Little story I wanted to share...
My DS's teacher told me that she was talking about different cultures in class. She told a story about a boy who's dad was jewish and mom was from Mexico and the boy decided to combine the two cultures and make a jalopeno bagel. (I think that is how the story went). ANYWAY... the writing assigment after the story was to write about your parents culture. My DS obviously was not clear what culture was as his response was:
"my mom's culture is Disney World".![]()
Since so many of us are photography lovers, I have decided to host a photowalk on the ship...
Tuesday, November 3rd at 7:00 AM -
Join me as we watch andphotograph the sunrise as we pull into the Grand Caymans. We will meet at 7:00 AM at the drink station (so everyone can grab their morning coffee/tea/soda) and then tour the almost empty deck, taking pictures, sharing stories and seeing the sunrise..
If you arrive in your PJ's we won't care, but be aware we will have camera's LOL
Who is in?

We are going to do a test chat tomorrow (Saturday) at 7:30 pm est.. This will be our "test" chat, we want to make sure everything is working.
If you want to join in please pm either me or Shell (Ntheory) before 5:00pm tomorrow and we will send you the link and directions on how to register and the password. For obvious reasons we don't want to put it up here for public eyes. Please when you get it, go right ahead and register, please don't wait until 7:30(if you can help it) so that if there are registration problems we can walk you through them.
Any questions let us know. Hope you are as excited about this as we are!!!
P.S. I am decorating my stateroom door - anyone else??

Kris - I may be in the minority but I am not sure this will work for us or for many cruising...
A majority of the group has little ones and this is going to be a LONG day for them and their parents (yes I remember having little ones LOL) and with all that happens the day of embarkation and add halloween/trick or treating in, plus the adult Halloween activities they will be having (I am assuming this based on the last two years worth of Navigators for 10/31) I am not sure a 9:00 pm meet on the first night works for many.
Can I also suggest we don't use the adults only area for the beginning of this meet-up, it's not fair to those who are traveling with little ones as they can't bring them and chances are they may just be leaving dinner or a show and just want to stop by to say Hi. I would suggest the meet-up be in an "open area" of the ship and then the adults can move on to the adults only area if they wish. Just my thoughts.
Hi everyone!!!! We are also booked on this cruise and are so excited! We are Lorraine, Rich, Ryan, and Kayleigh. Ryan will be 9 and Kayleigh almost 5 when we sail. We are also part of the Jersey week crowd being from Bergen County in NJ. We were on the Sept 1st Hurricane Hannah Double Dip that was not a double dip as we missed our 2nd stop at Castaway Cay to enjoy 25-30 ft. waves out at sea!We re-booked while onboard and are excited to have Halloween oboard- my kids are psyched!
We are staying in WDW on the Thursday b/f and will go to MNSSHP and then to the Radisson for the night before (current plan but we may stay at WDW). We were part of the DIS group that was on our other cruise and it was so fun to do the FE's and meet up with other DISer's. We also did lanyards on that cruise and it was a great way to identify each other.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Lorraine
Welcome Lorraine!!!
I'm Shell, and I'll be cruising with my dh (Mark), ds (Jonah - 13), dd (Jaydin - 4), and dm (Evelyn). Can't wait to meet you and your crew!!
I'm also in charge of the lanyards, so send me your information in a PM if you're interested in getting them. I need screen name, names for name badges, how many you want, mailing address for later, and if you want a zippered badge holder or a non-zippered one.
We missed those of you that weren't able to join us in the chat tonight!! We had a great time getting to know one another. This is going to make us so much closer by the time we get on the ship!![]()
Sorry I was unable to attend. I was prepping for my little one's cheer competition tomorrow. I plan to make the others!

OMG the chat while small was so much fun but I think I learned too much about dancing pics, penguins and moose... and I really know what WWW stands for now![]()
