Ok.....this may have been asked b 4 but....does anyone know our dining rotation??? and....:confused3
where can I go to find it or does anyone have a recent updated list of who is participating in Fish Extenders, who is all cruising, etc???

From my experience and what I have seen online, we do not know our dining rotation until check in. If someone has a way of finding this out ahead of time, please share!

I have not mastered the multiple quote response yet, but the website that Kelly set up can be found in this thread, page 27 post 396.

Once we're a little closer, I will ask concierge if they know what the rotations will be. If they know at the time, they will tell me. Not sure when they will know, but I will ask around 105 days before we set sail.

I can finally post that we are "officially" going on this cruise - myself, DH, DD (8) and DD (5). I have had it booked for a while, but was anxiously awaiting for the board approved school calendar. Rumor had it we were going with a county wide school calendar for next year, which I was thrilled with since my daughters always have this week off but my school did not. Well the calendar came through on Friday so the remaining parts of my planning can go into action.

We are flying out of Philly Friday evening (great rates through AirTran) and staying at the Radisson at the port. The girls do not know about the trip and will not until Saturday morning when they figure it out at the port. We did the 15 night Panama Canal cruise last summer and are thrilled to be going on this trip.

I will need to sign up for the Fish Extenders and start researching the different ports and planning our excursions. Can't wait to talk to everyone here on the boards.

I'm between PHL and ACY although could do EWR if I had to...but I can't think that far ahead right now...we're heading off to the 3-night in March (less than 60 days away)...I'll work on airfare for 10/31/09 probably in a couple months. Right now, I think Southwest (PHL) only goes out fo like May or June...

Check out AirTran out of Philly. Just got $59 each way for this cruise!

Just wanted to say hi to all on this thread. We will be cruising with you.

Welcome :welcome: I just booked this week myself so I have lots of planning to do as well.

15 night Panama! I bet that was nice!

LOL...I actually sent a post a couple weeks ago about these very rates. They are BOOKED!!!

We do the exact same thing...fly down the night before, stay at Radisson...You can call now and will still probably be able to reserve the first shuttle. (10a)

:grouphug:

I concur. Major bummer. That was gonna be our plan too.
Oh well.

In the meantime in a mere few hours I am getting on the Wonder. Whoo hoo!!

Oh no. I'm sorry!!!

However, I'm THRILLED that they are offering it on the 29th. We may be able to do that one. We don't like to do the night before a cruise because we don't want to drive over to PC at midnight or the next morning. This might just work for us.

Maybe they will add the 30 as the others get booked!!!

....have fun on the Wonder - take lots of pictures! :goodvibes

ok.....about MNSSHP "issue"..... after a much spirited internal debate - I have decided to fall back on my original plan which is to STILL go to MK on Oct 30th until it closes. This will give me an opportunity to see what I didn't see in January..which is Spectromagic parade and the fireworks show. ** I have never seen both and Am looking forward to it ** :woohoo:
Oh....and I just gotta have one of those H-U-G-E rice krispy treats (Main Street USA) dipped in Chocolate! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Secondly, go to GF in the am on Oct 31st for the Supercalifrag breakfast. That oughta be fun. :yay:
Got a few other things lined up for that day (Oct 30th) as well so all in all - its still going to be a magical day and a magical vacation :goodvibes

Keeping it real down here in Dallas
(BUT WITHOUT Cowboys T.O. AND ROY WILLIAMS....)

I'm not shocked about the MNSSHP not being on the 30th. They probably don't want to close the park 2 nights in a row, specifically a Friday and a Saturday. And since Saturday is the 31st, the 30th was probably never going to happen.
It just stinks because if they had the party it would have been the cheapest way to get into the parks with the most amount of ride time considering the lower crowds.

But our plan after we arrive on the 30th is just to head over to the hotel at the port, and probably say hello to about half of the people from this board :rotfl2:

I'll have to be reminded as we get closer to the date, but I remember someone saying something about a good pizza restaurant near the hotel that they would walk to. I think I need a reservation for that now too! (already on the first shuttle in the morning)

Jeff-

Kelsey's is the Pizza place, no reservations needed and it is literally next door to the Radisson. Two minute walk max

...this kinda falls down the line of WWYD also during "pirate night."......

ok....I called DCL yesterday morning. They said that normally the "trick or treating" takes place between 1st & 2nd seating dining and that Halloween contests /parties will be held after 2nd seating dining.

So....gotta ask the "Goofy question of the day." Are any of you going to partake in the Halloween festivities during this time????? About WHAT TIME would you suggest getting dressed up for the occasion??
Or are you /would you just dare it and go to your 1st encounter with your dining mates all dressed up for Halloween and stay in costume all throughout the night?? Or ???? :confused3 Tough call to make here and I would really appreciate some feedback.
Or...should I just relax a bit......and go order a big ol rice kripsy treat dipped in chocolate from room service & that be "my treat" for the night?
(I have never had one of those & I heard they are good - plan on getting one while out at MK on Oct. 30th and dwntown Disney am of oct. 31st).
Signed.....

Have not done Halloween on DCL, but if it is between 1st and 2nd dining I would think people would dress up at dinner. I do not have the slightest idea if DH and I are dressing up...but I have no problem dressing the kids up at dinner...it is Halloween.

I think you should post this question on the main boards. There are some Halloween threads out there and someone from past cruises may respond there.

We are arriving on the 30th as well. We get into Orlando 10AM so we will be renting a car and probably going to Kennedy Space Center for the day. I haven't booked it yet, but I'm pretty sure we will stay at the Radisson so hope to see you. I will probably book it soon so I can sign up for the shuttle. If we don't get on the first one we can always use the rental car and then use their shuttle.

Although I personally think that day light savings time is stupid (if people want more daylight they can just get up earlier), I'm glad it happened this year. We are now 1 hour closer to going on the cruise.

And time changes back *while* we're on the boat, so we actually get an extra hour to play while we're there!!!!! :)
