I can't remember if I've posted yet or not, but I'll be joining you all on this cruise. This will be my 12th Disney Cruise, and first one solo. I'm not going to have time to do the FE, but I might be interested in joining in for a meet sometime.

The last time I was on this thread (and Disboards) was in August...I had 25+ pages of reading to do.

Reposting once again - we have an extra room reserved that we no longer need at the Country Inn and Suites in Cape Canaveral for Oct. 29 (Sat night before cruise). We reserved 2 queen beds for @125 plus taxes.

Today, I'm calling the motel to release this room. I checked online the other morning and the room rate has jumped to $159 plus taxes.

I was thinking if anyone would be interested, I could change the name on the room and you could have it for the price we're paying. IF you would need parking it would be about $15 total price extra.

Important FE info

Just wanted to let everyone know that since we have a concierge level DISer (imablueberrytoafairy) that the gate to that level are open during the day but are locked at night. So if you are delivering gifts be sure to go during the day or you can drop the FE gift at guest services and ask them nicely to deliver it for you.

I'm not sure if the group has settled on a time / date for a meet yet. Maybe that's something we should decide on soon.

I know in some of the original stuff emailed out there was a "adult girls" meet at the adult pool but I'm not sure if that's still planned.....


What about an adult meet (in addition to a general meet)? I know there are a number of adults with no kids (or adults who will be readily abandoned once onboard for the DCL kids clubs ) and a meet at the adult pool or one of the bars might be a nice way for the adults to talk and discuss our mutual obsession (Disney!)

What about an evening meet at the adult pool at 10pm on the first day? I know that it's kind of late but I'm thinking after late dining and the pool is open until midnight. I imagine at that time in the evening, it would also be pretty empty so we could have the pool and hot tub almost to ourselves.

Or, I don't know how many people have long excursions planned for Nassau, but we could do a meet that day around 5pm. Or we could do a 5pm meet on the Castaway Cay day.

Anyone interested?

Below is the list I have. Those in a blue highlight are those added after 9/01.

I'm up for a 10pm on the first evening... That day is pretty much barren of Disney Special extras as they figure everyone is getting adjusted. So a DIS Meet would work best then. Other days/nights will probably be filled so finding a common time will be hard to do as, we only have 4 days aboard the ship..
