OCTOBER 30th & NOVEMBER 3rd Cruises (FE and Meets)

Hello all, I did not realize a new thread was made...I have ALOT of catching up to do!! I cannot believe how close we are to our trip...in one more month it will be really close to me as I have a lot going on in the month of September that will make time FLY!

I hate to say this after all these months but due to a change in work schedules we must cancel this cruise.
How ever for us its not all bad as we get to do a 7 day Eastern on Nov 5th on the Magic.


I am hoping someone will want to take over the CM and FE list . Please let me know if you can do this. I will send you the mailing list and since you just received the current list you have all the information already.
Please change it to suit yourself.

I will miss seeing old friends whom we have cruised with many times before and meeting new ones but life is always full of surprises.

Kathy, I'm so sorry we won't get to meet!! Thank you for all of your hardwork on the FE list. I love the Magic and I love 7 day cruises! We were on the Magic around that time in 2006. We were in the Eastern Carib. and the weather was perfect. Have a wonderful time.

Sorry, you can;t make the cruise but life happens. What is needed to take over maintenance of the lists? Could possibly take it over if it isn't too much work (since I have never headed one and only participated in our first FE in May).

I think the 7 nt cruise is a good trade off. You still have something to look forward to. Enjoy your cruise.

My family is now checked in... A few more days and the rest of my party will be able to check in. This cruise is finally becoming more real!

My family has 3 birthdays just before this cruise; football season is kicking into gear; and school is getting ready to begin. The time between now and the cruise is going to FLY by for us!

I'm pretty nervous about traveling with my 1 year old... I've read the thread on baby tips and was a bit overwhelmed. I don't want to forget something!

Hi Angela! I'll also be traveling with my newly turned 1 yr old (week before cruise) and am a tad bit nervous. We also have a 2 yr old so this vacation should be interesting! DH and I had our first two children shortly after we got married, took a big break and then had our last two. This will be our first big vacation with the babies. Did you schedule nursery hours? I think we'll put the baby in the nursery after an hour of dinner and then for the shows. I also scheduled some time during the sea day. Are you going to use the diaper delivery service? I think we will so I don't have to pack it all. There's definitely a lot to think about when travelling with babies!!

We'll be traveling with DS who will be 20months when we travel. We have his grandparents joining us so we are going to have it a little easier.

We will be with a 18 month and 2 1/2 year old. cant wait lol but for us we have me (aunt Appie) and my mom (grams) with my sister so we should all be good with the two boys. cant wait for a 20 hour car ride with the boys.

Wow! Sounds like the babies are going to have some playmates. My little man will be turning one just before the cruise (Oct 18). We had a big break in between the two boys.

We are very fortunate that our party is including grandparents, aunts, and uncles on this trip. Grandpa likes to nap on cruises, so he and the baby will have that time together.

I am not using a diaper service simply because we are driving and we have the room. If we were flying, I would have considered alternate options.

Since it has been so long in between kids, it is good to know that I'm not by myself in this nervousness about bringing the baby... I'm sure I'll have a million lists created of what to bring for him. I just don't want to over pack (oh who am I kidding? I'll way over pack for him!)

Is anyone bringing a stroller of any kind? And what about those leash things I've seen on kids now? Kind of looks like a stuffed animal hugging kids?

On a different note, we ordered our Fish Extender from Ebay the other day. Now I just need to get started on making my gifts. I can't wait to walk around with my oldest and make deliveries! What a great way to see the ship and have a little fun in the process...

Nolan is October 13th!! I loved having a fall baby. We will be in WDW before and after the cruise so we are bringing our City mini double stroller. I doubt we'll use it much once on the ship but can't be sure. We are considering the harness for our 2 yr old. I found a cute Mickey Mouse one I might purchase. I hate to do it but I think he may need it.


As for the FE, I am all over the place! I just can't decide what to do. I like the idea of stuff from your home state. Just curious if anyone would be interested in stuff from Harvard University. Dh works there. He could go to the Coop (Harvard bookstore). This may be a lame idea, just throwing it out there. Any suggestions would be helpful. Maybe your favorite past FE gift? Thanks
