Just got to our next stop on this short one-week vacation. Thanks to Beda for getting the disboard group together and making the FE a huge success!

I'm sorry I did not get to meet many of you due to my obligations to my mom (who used a rollator throughout the cruise except for a cane at Palo), but am VERY happy I was able to meet at least a few of you. It was a great cruise.

I'd like to say a special thank you to Monica, Angelo, Emily & Samantha for the nice surprise on the Fish at our door, even though we were not part of the FE and did not have a "hangar." That was very thoughtful, and those custom wrappers for the cruise were incredible! AWESOME!

I know that many of you must have seen me photographing my "Duffy the Disney Bear" all over the ship and at CC. I hope to have all his pics on his website by tonight or tomorrow.

UPDATE: I am finding myself bogged down with too many "more important" things to do right now, so I went ahead and put Duffy's still unedited pics on a journal page of his website HERE. This is also where his trip report/journal will go, as soon as I get around to it. So for those who wondered what I was doing all over the ship with the bear, this is it.

Haha - I don't know how you missed him. I photographed him all over the ship and several areas of CC. I did run into several Disers but often the same ones on numerous occasions. I'm terrible at remembering names.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful cruise this was. My kids loved it as this was their first cruise ever. They spent much of the time in the Lab and swimming. We are all exhausted and have done nothing but catch up on sleep the last couple of days. I guess we got somewhat lucky being able to to dock at CC with the weather. Don't know if anyone else noticed this but while we were on CC, the bad weather was all around us and the little sun we had was over CC all day. Got to give Captain Marco credit for finding the better weather that night so we could have the Pirates party outside with the fireworks. We booked another cruise for next year, this time we are doing the 7 night Easter Caribbean in November. That will be on the Magic. Don't know about anyone else but I am still rocking back and forth , really bad today actually. Need to take a Dramamine, lol.

Me too! The last night on board was the worst we have experienced for motion. Even Space Mountain afterward hasn't stopped my rocking.

We had a great cruise except for the fact that Snow White had to tend to a strike at the mine and was nowhere to be found after the Golden Mickeys (we were told she would be back on board for the next cruise, but DD only brought her Snow White dress as that is who she was looking forward to most!). Cast Members did make up for it by inviting her to a special VIP Gathering prior to Til We Meet Again. That was SO awesome! I'll post some pix when I get a chance.

One disappointment was not having our server request granted. After our last cruise, we loved Josipa so I called and requested her again for this cruise. I called a few weeks before the cruise to confirm the request. When we were seated for dinner the first night, we did not have Josipa so we assumed she was not on board but Weds morning we saw her working the buffet. She was actually working the same rotation we had! Our servers were fine but found it odd this request was not granted when so many others have reported being able to request servers.

Yep - I was that way until last night. Almost back to normal now. My mom wasn't affected at all, but I told her it's because she used her rollator - lol. Duffy is feeling it though! I haven't yet done a trip report for him, but did add captions to his slide show and adjusted the privacy settings to enable anyone to view it.

And I agree - Captain Marco did an OUTSTANDING job!

It is still "only a request" when you call DCL. To confirm things you need to go to Wavebands when they open for dining changes & ressies. That is where things can be worked out to put you with your desired serving team, when possible.

We understand it's only a request, but had no way of knowing whether we had her or not until the first dinner. Just thought it was odd after so many folks on the DIS boards stating they continually request and receive a particular server that ours was not granted especially when she was in the same room each night..

Yes you are right. We were in Triton's on the last night (we had the second seating) and sitting at the table the rocking was pretty bad. I had to get up to take the kids to the bathroom and OMG I could not walk straight going down the hallway, the kids thought it was funny. We had THE BEST server ever for our meals. His name was Tino and the assistant server was Milton. He became our best friend on the cruise. I would definitely request him the next time.

Pooh, I was wondering who you might be on the cruise but with all those people that's impossible.

Sorry we missed you too, but I did run into a co-worker who I dind't know was on teh cruise so it can be done.
