Reminds me of the days when us Dodger fans would face off with Giant fans... back before both teams sucked rotten eggs. It's not a good time to be a Dodger and 49er fan... ah, but I'll always have the 80's!

t&p : that could be a very risky bet, cuz even if the Yanks win the division, the Bosox can still take the wild card. Wouldn't that be a great LCS - Yanks/Bosox?

i love the 80s and 90s music beano, now all that rap music and other music cant understand a word there saying. isnt there 80's night on the ship

and yes were smack talking but all in fun.

the only reason i hate the red soxs is that they show now respect to the yankees, i mean come on we only won 26 world championships, you should really give respect where it is deserved

t&p - Yes, they do have 80's night on board, and I am a self-proclaimed expert on the genre! But, alas, I cannot handle another Disney cruise with the Go-Go's and Bon Jovi... not to mention the 70's John Travolta and Gloria Gaynor night... somebody please tell me they've changed those??

And I understand what you mean about respect... same thing us Dodger fans put up with from the Giants... the word 'envy' comes to mind.
Although, the Red Sox can finally say they have 'broken the curse'. In terms of World Championships... the Giants still suck!

Getting back to the subject of the "BOAT"

We made reservations at Palo's for Halloween. Now I'm thinking that's a big mistake. Anyone else going the same night?

Also, how did any of you make reservations for the brunch or tea? I checked the first day reservations were possible and I didn't even see that come up.

Sorry can't get in the baseball talk....not my sport. DH played competivie baseball for years. DS was at his first baseball tourney when he was 3 days old so kinda have had my fill.....now if you want to talk hockey or football I am there.

Okay..here's the bet. If the Red Sox get in the playoffs, I will bring you a Red Sox hat and you have to wear it at some point during the cruise. If they don't make it in to the playoffs, you have to bring me a yankees cap and I will...<shiver> wear it.

Talking smack about baseball is so pointless. Are there ever any new teams that are good? At least in the NFL, the wealth is spread around a bit. If I have to hear about the Yankees, Red Sox, Braves, Giants, or Angels for another October it will be too soon. Too late! Already happening. At least the White Sox are a breath of fresh air this year. It gets old!

LOL!!! At least it give people something to talk about while waiting for the 4 weeks to pass....

We had this discussion many many pages ago......there is no "Palo's". It's just Palo. No, I'm not laughing at you, it's just funny to me cuz when we had this discussion (you were not on boards yet me thinks) it was a huge thing!! Right people! No bashing here, just information....

What's with all the baseball bashing back and forth .....lived through those days and the Giants vs. Dodgers thing........almost got hit once by a Giants fan (and I was 15) how rude! I was such a quiet, innocent sweet little thing too

I have that great Disney Wiget countdown on my Apple at home...Beano found it and I love it!
4 weeks today!! WOO HOO!!! I can't wait! Is it bad that I am now thinking I will be packing the night before I leave?? I had my suitcases out from this weekend. I just figured out I will not be able to take my traincase. I need to figure out how to take all my stuff! PANIC!!!!! AGGHHH!!!

Do you have a extra bedroom or space that can be used to lay out all your "cruise stuff" and then pack it as soon as you return home? At least you can have it organized, so that all you have to do is pack it....not the greatest, but it'll have to do I suppose.

RJ - no..I don't have an extra room. My step son's room is only used a few times a month, but I really can't go in there and have it sit for the next 30 days..He might have a problem! LOL!
My closet is pretty large walk in...they are laying out in there and I can still move around them fine...I miss my spare room. My suitcases use to sit in there weeks before my disney trips.

I love "The Amazing Race". It will be interesting to see how it works out with the teams of 4 this season. I'll have to be sure to have someone tape it for me when it is cruising time.

I was able to get a Palo reservation for brunch, because those of us who have cruised before got to book earlier than everyone else. If you didn't get one, just hurry and get one as soon as you get on the ship.

The Amazing race is circled in RED on the calander ! The Bummer is I have to work tonight and won't be able to watch it until tomorrow morning so no posting about it until then ok .

I got my vacation approveal slip last night . Not that they were going to be able to deny it.

T-man I really don't give a Mickey Mouses *** about baseball either it just passes the time before the NBA action begins!

Glad that I am not the only one that doesn't care about baseball. Last night's LSU/Tennessee college football game was much more exciting than any baseball game could be!
