The respect will cost you...almost as much as you paid for those world series championchips. :)

Ouch...LOL :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Now that's funny. Not an east coast fan at all, but I was thinking the same thing.

Just wondering :confused3

I can't wait to see who gets to wear whose hat!!?? :Pinkbounc Something else to look forward to. :Pinkbounc

Gotta go check on my survivor team!! Maybe I am having better luck there and my fantasy football team :sad2:

I like the baseball bet, guys. Just another photo-op for Beano! :)

And I was also going to tell you to stop the arguing, because otherwise, so help me, I will pull this thread right over and you'll be sorry if I do! :rotfl2:

(Sorry, parental flashback)

*** I just learned that the "John Travolta/Gloria Gaynor" and "Bon Jovi/Go-Go's" shows are STILL being done... so for any other repeat cruisers like me who can't sit thru those again... we might have to schedule a 2nd DIS party, a late night one! ;) Yikes.

'Beano'

   Tenor blushing as she is hesitant to confess being a 3 time winner of the "I Will Survive" Gloria Gaynor lipsynch contest.... :rolleyes1

Although I will admit that it is outdated now. For gosh sakes was that the only 70's song??? I absolutely loved the 70's and 80's music, I grew up with it, but there has to be something new they could throw in there.

OK Question time. Besides Betsy w/ her Nani costume , are any other adults going to dress up on Halloween ?

RJ DD has a Crown from libby lu if you feel like wearing your formal again. I'm sure she'd let you borrow it.

I am sure that I will regret it, but I will dress up. The Pookmeister General has begged me to do it, and this will be a good chance to do it and not be too out of place.

We have not had any good family pictures lately, and kids grow so fast, so we are going to take advantage of all those great backgrounds on the ship and get some pics done. I found the sweetest little formal dress on Ebay. If anyone wants to see it, it's Item: 8220193795. It's from a firm called Angelickids. I think it's suppose to be a flower girl or junior bridesmaid dress, but it works for me. If anyone else is looking for a cheap tux for small son, or a dress up dress for DD, you might check out their Ebay store. Their shipping is high ($15) but I figure when I got a dress that would be at least $80 or more in the store, and I got it for $20, then I am still ahead.

:rolleyes1

WAY TO GO ANGELS! :cool1:

Just had to say it. :sunny:

That's a gorgeous dress Lynne! What a great price, too!

Good morning all.

I know I asked but got no responses.... Do they sell Coffee Crisp chocolate bars in the States. DH doesn't think so for some reason and I wanted to bring trick or treat treats that they kids might not be able to get at home.

Have a great day everyone.

I have never heard of them...

Kim...

I've never heard of them either, but...

hmmm - chocolate, coffee and crispies, how can ya resist!!!!!!! Bring em on baby!

Betsy...

Cool door magnet!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower:

Betsy, Ronnie...thanks.....they are yummy....I just won't buy them till the night we leave ...or they will be all gone. :rotfl:

Cool door magnet...puts mine to shame.....

Well...today, I was thinking of checking out some packing tips threads, making a list of things to do before we leave....where are you heading....might be more exciting???

Kim

Hey Gals...

Anybody got any ideas on how to pack my formal? I have one garment bag religated for it, but do you think there is a better way? Btw, took it to the seamstress yesterday...hope she does a good job! <nervous>

On the packing note...

We roll most of our clothes. We get less wrinkles and they take up less space.

Hugs,

RonnieJo

Ronnie - can you get someone to "vacuum" it...less space and then just have it steamed
Edit - Head over to the Wedding/Honeymoon board..I bet some Fairy Tale Wedding girls have advice on getting a big formal packed.

Here is the headline today...maybe my door magnet is a prophecy?

Forecasts warn major hurricane likely in October

GREAT!!!!!

Funny thing is Ronnie, driving to work this morning thinking of how to pack everything and I thought about you and how you would pack your dress. I can't think of anything other then a garmet bag.

OMG, I just checked FLhurricane this morning and it doesn't look like anything was brewing out there. :earseek:

Kim

Great idea Betsy!

But alas, I know no one who has one of those systems...bummer.

Any body know what the policy is on the airlines for asking them to hang my dress in the first class closet? No, we're not actually flying "in" 1st class....we'll be walking through it though on our way to our seats... :rotfl2:

Have a nice day :sunny:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower:

Try your drycleaner...sometimes they do that to preserve the dress for storage...also..worse case..pack it carefully in a "Space Bag" and use your vacuum...

I've never heard of them Kim and I have spent a significant amount of my life time scanning the candy aisles. :)

BTW, did you put the sting ray excursion on your wish list?
