[Betsy's Mama]

Just talked to my daughter, Fran (Tchrmom) and they are sitting on the Magic waiting for the Sail-a-way party to begin. Wish I was there too but it won't be long until Betsy and I leave too. Have a trip to SC to stay with another granddaughter while her parents go to Honduras on a church mission coming up next month too. When I get home from there, Betsy and I are going to WDW as you know from her post. Busy summer for an "old women"

Survived? I did. Barely. Oooh the squealing {covers ears}, now just have to sit on Cassie to write the thank you notes - and none of this fill-in the blank stuff either ooh mean, Mama! Did actually drink a whole glass of wine last night ok glass and half, I had to silence the screaming in my ears. NO slumber parties! Not enough grapes in California.

DD found herself on restriction. I have commuted her sentence though after a day of community (family) service. Commonly known as house work ! Hey like Harry Fonda said " What good is a dwarf if you can't make him do chores !"

Hmmm ... house work, huh? Note to self...

oh, forgot to tell all y'all (see Sarah, I'm gettin' good ):

my wonderful daughter said the most bittersweet thing to me first thing this morning: "Momma, it would be a great day to be on the Magic getting ready to sail away, wouldn't it?" That's my girl!

It was 8:00, 11:00 "goofing around like kids at Christmas waiting to get on the ship" Orlando time

Kinda just brings tears to your eyes, doesn't it?

Dr. Doolittle 3 was... so-so. Funniest line:
Cowboy (in rodeo competition): You're going up against a two time state champion.
"Large" City Boy: Yeah? I can stick a whole box of twinkies in my mouth without swallowing.
(well, the kids cracked up anyway) A rollicking good time was had by all.


I'll try to post some pix of the party, but I might have to sneak in one or two of this bea-you-tee-ful day (mid-70's blue blue sky, fresh clean air both kids at play dates)


Hey Beano! Were you aware of the FREE drinks on formal night AND at the CC reception (which I had never heard of before)? Just heard about it myself. Free drinks on board ! Why didn't somebody tell me about this? visions of a much smaller bill on the next cruise? ...

Great googly-moogly, girl ! How many CC receptions have you been to? We have been power-drinking free rum runners for 4 years at those receptions!

And you're right, it will definitely reduce the on-board bill, maybe keep it down to 4 or 5 grand!!

Tim's would certainly be non-DIS appropriate. For instance... "Nice hammock... wanna ****?" Although, it also might have something to do with karaoke.

Oh ... it's Castaway CLUB?? I was thinking Castaway Cay and wondering when in the world they had a reception for docking at Castaway Cay

Yup, I was at that reception Sure don't remember any free drinks on formal night though. Must be in the lobby where every single person on board is jammed. If I knew there was free drinks, I'd a crammed myself in there as well.


Let's NOT give the tag fairy a copy of the DVD, shall we? I don't need a tag that says, "I don't wanna go to Palo" It's a good thing the fairy can't tag with pictures - now that would be scary. ("Mommy Beano used his midle finger in that picture. That's not ok, is it?" - Cassie yesterday) Thanks for reminding me about the video. That'll be tonight's entertainment.
