Beano: Oh yeah....I fergot....shame I aint gunna gets to meets all you's nice peepole. I guess that'll save me alot of moolah on my charges, ifin I aint there....Didn't do too bad last time, a little over $500 and most of that wuz the spa, and since it was just me and the kid, I really watched my alcohol intake....I guess if I drank wine and beer wooda been werse....Me no can drinky the wine and beer...makes me barfum muchum on Beano's piano....always thought it was strange that I can drink pretty much everything else...tequilla, bourbon, vodka....all the hard stuff, but wine, champagne and beer make me sick as a DOG !!!! (apparently a brown one)

Dangnabit!!! When for the love of Farrah Fawcett, am I going to get my computer back??? They have had it for 6 weeks now...although they did say it would be 6-8 weeks (hard drive I think went kahbloooie). Oh well, having them fix it under warranty means I get it back when they say, but will probably save about $5-8 hundred dollars.

WAH HOO ZIE...did I mention I LOVED THE GAME yesterday?......Can't stand Terrill Owens, any opportunity to shut his mouth is good. You have to remember that I was at the game, when he was with someone else granted, when he made a touchdown and then preceeded to run to the middle of the field and showboat on OUR STAR!!!! Our star, not his!!!!!! He did it a second time and George Teague ran up to him tackled him ferociously, and knocked him on his a**!!!!! Should have heard the crowd roar when that happened! Emmitt took off after him too I think....

Found out my docs were sent UPS 3 day on the 6th... that means they should be here tomorrow since UPS was already here today . Car got fixed too but I had to see how much it was. Now to just get the computer fixed.

Okay, Okay.... I DID IT!!!!!!!!!

Initiation of Dis Board completed!!! Well, at least that was better than the initiations I had to endure in High School....went thru 3 of em. Freshman couldn't be in Acappella, so I tried out for Freshman chorus instead...when I made that, initiation for any choir at all involved a "slave auction". I was auctioned off and bought by 3 friends of the guy I was totally goners over They bought me for his birthday. Required being the slave of the person for a week. Monday was dress up day, and Tues. thru Fri. was just general slaveage. My costume? Shorts and a shirt, panty-hose and high heels, and a VERY BIG BOX....decorated to be a birthday present. Initiation 2 was a year later when I made Acappella. Had to be blind-folded and crawl on my hands and knees thru a muddy maze out on a farm, while people threw rotten food on me. Faster you crawl....less food. Didn't do tooo badly. But very stinky. Initiation 3: When I made the Varsity Drill Team. The "Dashing Debs", only when you make it, you are called a "Dub" until the other girls decide you aren't a dub....The way this one worked was you tried out on a Friday, and then you had to wait and wait...kinda like the doc wait....at your house on Saturday and hope that someone picks you up!!! They no longer do it this way, btw, they said it was too cruel for girls to wait around and wonder if they will be picked up. Now they have to post a list by a specific time..continuing on in my facinating story...the girls get together at school on Saturday, find out who made it, choose big sisters, and then go and pick you up at your house. You are at their mercy for the REST of the day. First thing they do, is everyone is brought back to the school, in a grassy area, and they pour food upon food upon food on you. (couldn't crawl away from that one) Old food they have been saving outside to get good and rotten for a couple of weeks....old sardines, rotten spaghetti, chocolate syrup, honey....you name it, I had it on my person. They can then take you anywhere they feel like it for the rest of the day and you must do whatever they say for the rest of the day. I myself and 3 others, were put in the back of a truck and taken to a nearby lake, where I had to do our kick routine in front of cute guys, and whatever else they told me to do. Later I was dumped back home, where my mother refused me entrance back into the house....I sprayed myself off with the water hose, once allowed back in I took 2 baths and a shower, washed my hair 6 times, and I think it was a week or two before I could get that smell out of my head......UGHHHHHHH

Betsy: Didn't you have to go thru similar torture????

And all that was for high school? Glad they don't do stuff like that anymore...sheesh!

You mean they don't do anything like that at all?????? Well, there has been more attention on hazing deaths at colleges....maybe they have cracked down on the high school level too....although I was never placed in a position where I felt unsafe....I never was forced to drink or eat anything, and I was never paddled... I was just wearin the food, not eatin the food......wellll...I guess there was some embarrasement involved when they made me go up to strangers and do weird stuff....



OKAY!!!!!! Now for this to be really good....someone has to post underneath me, and say yeah, me too, I'm stoked......blah blah or sumpin sumpin

Soooo totally agree w/the TO thang. And when he talks about himself in the 3rd person.....puh leeeeeez.

Don't worry, I don't get sea sick, I just for whatever reason can not drink beer, wine or champagne.

Tenor: Thanks for the thought. To see a Dallas game in Texas (I'd stay Texas stadium..but since they're getting a new one...) is on my list of things to do before I .....OK the list of 100 things I must do before I go to heaven.

See..happy projections...my therapist would be so proud... Really no therapist. Really....no, really. That is what my new kitten is for.

Right there with you on the TO thing. I am surprised the Philly fans like him. Lived back there a few years....the worst, fickle, fair weather fans on the planet. I think TO will be accepted until the Eagles start losing more games and then...they may just lynch him.

Wow, you all have been busy posting. I admit I've been lurking lately because I didn't have much to say.

3 weeks and we'll all be celebrating Halloween on the ship. Have you figured out your costumes (for those of you wearing them)? DH and I are not really ones who dress up much, but we figured we should since we're going to MNSSHP and then the cruise. He's going to be Peter Pan (we found a costume with pants, he said he wouldn't wear tights) and I'm going to be Wendy. I've got to go get some fabric tonight and get started on my costume--hopefully it turns out as I don't sew much. When we were looking for costumes online, we found a banana costume and I thought of all you DISers and your dancing bananas.

The next Amazing Race episode is on tomorrow. Do any of you fans think they'll actually leave the US?
