Is it best to do our own your in Cano? From what I have read it seems it but i thought I would ask? Do we disembark at the canal or can we now stay on ship?

In 2014, no disembarking while in the canal.

In Cabo, I did an excursion that took us out of the bay to see the herd of seals that stay right beyond the harbor.

Hi. My dh and I are on this cruise and are super excited. We are in for candy exchange and a liquor tasting. We are going to Disneyland before the cruise and are going to the Halloween party.

We will be at MNSSHP as well. Planning to be at DL on the 25th.

I noticed you mentioned pin exchange! Have not mentioned that recently, basically a pin trading event for the group.

Pin exchange---I organized this twice, interested people met at the buffet lunch around noon, we ate and exchanged pins. Another time we met in a vacant lounge.

Local Candy/ Snack exchange uses FEs to pass out local treats, usually with something off the Internet about the history of the company. You give once and enough for the cabin to share. Usually the number of cabins in a group is between 6-11. We have enough for 2 groups and once I ask for cabins, I try to keep decks together.

Example of local treats are cheese straws from
Mississippi, key lime cookies from FL and flavored popcorn packs. Local candies we've gotten Hershey treats only found locally in PA, peach flavor candies from GA, Buckeyes fr Ohio and sponge candy from Buffalo.

Sometimes people have asked to be in two groups. I do ask for allergy information.

Pin exchange is really a meet for pin trading, talking about pins. Usually we've met in Cabanas for lunch and either stay there or find a place to trade.

On the last couple of cruises, there were people interested in a different "pin exchange " this was something like a FE, new pins or something special. It worked well, because there was communication among the participants.

I'll see if I can find the receipt from DCL. It was nice. Had a bus to take us there. A pool, beach access with cabanas. Then a buffet lunch. Really enjoyed the food. The local dancers and music was really nice.
