Right now we have a GTY room. Will we be able to participate in the FE? I'm not sure when we will find out what our room number is. We may not know until we check in? This is our first cruise, so I don't know when the GTY rooms are usually assigned. Anyone know?
 
Looking around it appears most GTY rooms get their room numbers at least two weeks in advance. I wouldn't have a problem with you getting on FE as long as we know numbers of people. Room numbers we can always get up to right before the cruise, but of course we would like to know as soon as you do.
 
OK. I'm still trying to decide if we will join the FE group. Since this is our first cruise (and such a short one), I'm not certain that we will have time to participate. But if we decide to, I will let everyone know before the 1st! Thanks!
 
FE is a great way to see more of the ship, and since we don't have too many cabins a great cruise to try out a fun activity.

Do join the FE list. It is voluntary and if you don't give this time don't worry about just relax and accept our gifts to you.

I Hope there will be a master list somewhere when we board so thatCabin numbers can be verified/updated since many folks have GTY or may upgrade at the port.

We upgraded last cruise and updated the Master FE list on the agreed upon door but I know several folks who never checked/updated the list and we found them since we just we methodically thru each deck (this was on the Wonder, not sure we will do that on the Dream).
 
I agree about the FE. It added to the overall experience.

I think we need to schedule a small dis meet so this way if anyone gets upgraded or changes room at the port people will know of the changes. Just a thought and it only needs to be a short meet.

We could volunteer our door, but we're all the way at the front and on the 8th floor. Maybe we want someone more centrally located.

Ok, since I did mention it; I will volunteer our cabin door. We are currently booked into 5538. We won't be moving as I want a chance to check out the long balcony and this is the first of our B2B (27th/30th). Give a knock, if we are there you can also check it out. My only regret is that the long balconies (Cat 5e) don't have the round bath (those are in Cat 4 & 8s).

5538 is fairly centrally located about five cabins forward of the forward elevators on the starboard (right) side of the ship. Deck five is also top entrance to the Buena Vista Theatre.
 
How about a meet before the sail away party? I believe that is when we did the meet last time. We could do it right by the mickey slide, and then we had a few people that were not part of our group take a group picture, with every camera that wanted one. I was a great memory.

About what time does the sail away party take place? I think the first day would be the best for a meet. All we plan to do is eat lunch, explore the ship, and swim in pool a little.

On another subject. I am trying to decide on FE gifts. I have lots of Disney movie music and thought I might make a mix CD. Any interest in that as a gift? I have a few small items already for gift bags.
 
A CD with unusual versions of Disney songs would be awesome! I collect as many of the jazz/country/steel drum versions as I have found over the years.
