I got to do happy work today!

After the day I had at work, it was a joy to do a "disney" assignment. I snagged the 11am terminal entry slot, which is great because it works perfect with our 10:30am car rental drop off.

Question.....did you do your online check in first or go for your ressies first? Also, does the window open up at 12am EST?

Definitely do your bookings first then afterwards, some have reported as late as 6am, the online check-in will be available. I didn't do mine until the next evening.

For me the bookings were easy all I wanted to get was a cabana, so I was back asleep by 12:15am.

Thoughts as to when we should cutoff the FE or if we should? Do you want me to have who is participating added to the roll call or by email or PM? Since this is my first time I am not sure how this works?

I will try to get the list together tomorrow night so it can be ready to go by the weekend.

FE cut off, hmmm.... Final payment day is 75 days before, and penalties start the next day with deposit gone, then additional penalties at 44 days.

Do we want to say September 1st for FE cut off? Anyone who wants to join after would be welcomed but with the caveat that not everyone would be delivering, due to gifts that had already been completed/ordered etc.

I will be making a few extras, last year I had 2 broken FE gifts by the time I got to BCN. So would be able add extras families after September 1st depending on my supply.

I like the idea of Sept 1st. That way those of us making things can settle into a number. Also, I see many more names on the roll call than 8, and I believe it was posted earlier that we have 8 FE participants. How do we know who is doing the FE and who is not? We are new to this and just want to be sure we have everything in order. I am a HUGE planner before our trips but then go with the flow when we are on vacation.

I called DCL today and they told me that my sons will probably not be able to board with us I guess they are attempting to enforce the new time frames. They did say to ask when we check in and they might allow it. It is worth a shot....

Looks like we will have to be up at the crack of dawn, go see the dream come into port, and then be one of the first families at the terminal.
