October 27, 2007 - Cruising around the Moon - A Magical All Hallows Eve Part 3

I will do both. I will post it full size for the planners who want to grab it. I will print it out on the color copier at work adn laminate one for every person on the ship. I will have permanent markers to loan if people do not bring them. I wil put a green Mickey head on the sign and you write your DIS name or room# on it to personalize the sign (so it won't be as likely to be stolen). I will even bring a bag of pre-cut magnets. We plan on being at the port around 10am. I can give them out at the port, at the DISmeet at 3pm, or at the Adentures Away party.

Michelle, thanks so much for doing this! I love how everyone on here is so friendly and willing to help one another. I can't wait to meet everyone!

Since they've been advertising that Nightmare Before Christmas is being re-realeased in Disney Digital 3D I was half wondering if that would be playing on the ship.

That's the one I was hoping for too! We've never seen it and since it was re-released... geeeee.... wouldn't that be cool?

Okay here it is folks. I can put the other moon with Mickey in his PJ's if people prefer. Please give me feedback. I had my DH look at it quickly. He loved the background picture and said he has never seen it....and he has seen a lot of the DCL professional stuff. My goal was to preserve the beauty of the Magic at night. I have the file as a .jpeg or photoshop. If you want it emailed directly as a file please PM your email. I will make copies for all. the size will be 11x8.5.

Here it is and I will make any changes you want. Add a better slogan or more graphics or whatever you guys want. I have not printed it yet....I need to do that to make sure the green mickey has all the white background removed.

And here is the sign with the DISname over it to show what I was thinking everyone could do to personalize it.

Where abouts do you live in Kissimmee, not that i would know or be familiar with it any more, i used to live in Poinciana and St Cloud MANY YEARS ago(11 years to be exact).
I used to love going to DTD which wasnt DTD at that time, Gosh what was it called then?????????????????????????
So cool to not have to drive very far and just spend a couple hours feel the magic and go home!

Sorry I have not posted in a looooooooooong while but as you can see by my ticker, I have changed cruises.
I know I am going to miss one heck of a good time. I am sad I will not get to meet some amazing people but I will read all the trip reports.

I live 15 min from the airport near the corner of Boggy Creek and Osceola Parkway.

We have to go on cruiss to feel the "special" Disney since we go the parks so often.

We are originally from the suburbs of Chicago.

Just checking in! Here we are -- safe and sound. Arrived in Orlando about mid-afternoon today (we head to Cocoa Beach Monday afternoon), and went and spent about 90 minutes or so at DowntownDisney early this evening. Needed a Disney fix!

But ... It was SO crowded! I bought a couple of things, but we're going to go back at another time, probably Monday morning

I LOVE the door sign! Could one please be printed out for me??? Thanks!

Michelle - I love the sign!! I like having the ability to personalize it.

Glad to share anything I have. The artwork in the kid's cruise journal's was all from searching the internet and other DISer's that shared! I LOVE this place!!

Noah and I went to see Disney on Ice "Finding Nemo". Ok... I have to say it... Dory's eyeballs are on the "chest" of the skater and well.... they were distracting... they.... um.... look .... well... like ta ta's!! I'm just not so sure they thought that one out well enough. Perhaps the skater's face needed to be more concealed?

The show itself... awesome. They did a great job with the story and you believed that there was an aquarium on the ice... the fish looked like they were swimming, the dolphins were my favorite... Crush was cool, the sharks were well done and the jellyfish were so real looking. They did an amazing job! I recommend it... (we need a two thumbs up smiley)

We love the sign, and look forward to displaying it.
I think we'll need an adult scavenger hunt on embarkation day: Meet in terminal to start, go to Kimmielees to obtain bubbles, to DC100's to drop off candy, Goofy pool at 3pm, Muster Stations at 4pm, back to your room for dinner prep, finish at dinner and find out who your tablemates are.
