Kim you will love WDW over Christmas, I got to do that in 2001. I would say that if you decide on a park for Christmas day, go early and leave around noon, and spend the day outside of the parks, it gets nuts. We couldn't even find a path to walk down Mainsteet, and we only got on one ride that day, we were at MK, and it was 33 degrees and snowing slightly, lol.

Thanks PJ... I thought I'd plan a dinner on that day at one of the resorts and probably skip the parks for that day. We have a 10 day park hopper... so 3 days are built in for relaxing and/or Universal (shhhhh Noah likes Spidey, what can I say?) ... I thought Christmas Day would be a good one to relax! I'd like to have Christmas Eve dinner in MK at LTT

Holy crap... I just reread what I typed about $100 a day if I'm not buying food... am I nuts???? I booked it with the dining plan, no way will we need $100 a day. I'd never get all that stuff home!

Kim, $100 a day for other stuff, and you will need $ for the extra luggage and the weight charges, lol.

Melaine, those meetings are AA meetings, "William Griffith Wilson (also known as Bill Wilson or Bill W.), was the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous." I think it is great that DCL offers that support on board for both guests and crew.

Scariest......Scary Mickey Mouse (Mickey in a sheet), Captain Barbosa & the Haunted Mansion ghost couple who won
Funniest.....Mr & Mrs Potato Head, Confused Grandmother who won & ?
Group....Flinstones, Tweedle Dum & Dee & Adams Family who won
Most original....Dude with amp on his feet & guitar who won, seven C's lagoon & ?

Maybe someone else will remember the one's I have forgotten.

I'm with Dizzi! I think a Christmas meet would be a great idea! I'm not sure how long we'd be able to stay, but I'm in and Ethan already said he'd love to go then!

Woooo Hoooo... it's taking shape... Ok... should we plan it around a weekend or during the week after Christmas? Noah and I arrive Sunday morning on December 21st. The next weekend is the day AFTER Christmas... and the weekend after that is Jan. 2nd... we could be talked into staying until the 4th.. IF you twisted my arm...

What works best for everyone??? We have to think about the travel time for Chris, Hazel, Rosie and Ryan to get over the pond... Hmmmmm....

Any of these days are good for me..............dec 24th to jan4, i cannot have my kids miss any more school so those are the days they are out.
Maybe we shoudl decide what we want to do and see when would be the best tiem to do it.

Do we want to do another dinner in a park, in DTD in case people dont want to go in a park.........Do we want to do a MVMCP?

That may help guide us into when?

Happy day after Thanksgiving? Is everyone stuffed?
We have another Thanksgiving tomorrow with Eric's family & dinner with mine for my brother's bday. Why do the holidays have to be so busy????? : I wish I was back on island time.

Noah and I have been busy. Our Christmas tree is up and we went to the Christmas store in our home town (kind of like a mini Frankenmuth where you ordered your Mickey Ornament from Melanie!) and I spent wayyyy too much $$$.

However, our tree is soooo beautiful (I'll post a pic after I upload one) and we stared our very first Christmas Village. You guessed it... It's Disney!!

I'll take a pic of that as well. So, we are almost finished with decorating. Time to put the boxes away and put up Christmas lights in Noah's room. I'd love to find a Disney themed tree just for his room... a little one. Anyone seen those around?

Our Thanksgiving was awesome, great food, good to be family and I found out my niece is pregnant with her second baby! Woooo Hoooo.... I'm going to be a Great Aunt for the 4th time!! As you can tell, since my niece's and nephews are starting their families... my Brother's all married very early and had their kids in their 20's and I had Noah when I was 38. It makes it nice for him to have some playmates. It's pretty cute seeing how he loves on them and plays so gently with the young ones. I love my kid.

Ok, laundry in the washer and dryer (yes, I will unpack today) and a pot of chili simmering on the stove. Life in Michigan is good! Oh... and we have snow too!

We leave for my DDs wedding on Wednesday evening!
And then the fun really begins!!!!

We dont put our tree up until My birthday Dec 12th and then I take it down the VERY NEXt day after Christmas that i am off!

I hate having it up i cant stand it and i only pu it up for the kids!

I'm in the middle of Xmas decorating!!!! We live on a street that has the 'official' holiday lights for our city. On the second Sunday of December, right around 6:00 p.m. Santa (our mayor) heads up our hill on the back of a firetruck. The firetruck sounds it's siren and we, on a one block area, turn on all our house lights at the same time. It's an awesome sight. We keep the lights on every evening until 1/2/08. We get lots of car and foot traffic. It's loads of fun, but lots of work. I have a big open house that night so we decorate (or shall we say go overboard) on the inside of the house. Our street theme this year is Aloha. Oh, well, I'm taking what I got in the Caribbean and turning it Hawaiian! My inside theme is Disney as always! Lots of little figurines, ornaments, wall hangings, etc. We have the Disney village and we have a big collection of other Department 56 village pieces. We also have a new piece that we got on the cruise - we were the lucky ones to win the art auction for the piece of Belle and the Beast in the Christmas Theme illustrated by Don "Duckie" Williams.
I am about to sit down and do my Christmas cards too. I did the photo cards with the family on formal night in front of Lumiere's. It came out great! Hope everyone is well!
