Adult weekend...Have you ever been to Cirque du Soleil?

Not sure if you were asking. But it is great and worth the $$. Enjoy your upcoming trip to Disney....we should have warmed up by then. It was chilly (be FL standards) today.

So... I changed our trip and we'll be in WDW for Christmas next year instead of Spring Break!! I just booked for 12/21 through 12/31 and might extend 12/31 to come home on 1/3. How cool is that??

I would extend if you have never done New Years Eve at Disney. The airport is empty that day...we flew back into FL two years ago on 12/31 so that will be a plus if you do not change it. The crowds are big of course, but they do the holidays very well and fabulous fireworks on 12/31.

Thanks for sharing that video Kim. That is beautiful & really makes me wish we were going for the holidays this year. I have always wondered why they didn't decorate the castle.
We were there for MVMCP last year after our 4 night cruise & it is so beautiful at Christmas.

Just peeking in.........I have been swamped and somewhat depressed although I am not sure why.........So my plan is to snap out of it and get busy scheming and planning again. I miss you all and hope everything is going well.

Kimmie - We spent Christmas at Disney a few years ago and it was AMAZING!!, we even brought a small Christmas tree and nativity scene from home and put it on the table. I also brought along a goodie box, wrapped and left it at the Conceirge desk so that on Christmas Morning the desk called the room and asked to speak to Taylor telling her Santa had left it for her with Mickey and he asked that it be delivered to her there. SHE still believes it was from Mickey ( she has never believed in Santa LOL) You will have a wonderful time. We are local so if Noah would a friend one day, we'd be happy to drive over and say Hello.

We would LOVE to have you guys come over! Being there for 10 - 14 days... It would be awesome to see some friendly faces. Noah noticed a picture of Taylor when I was reading your trip report and he got all excited... "Momma, I KNOW her"... like it was a huge random coincidence that I found a picture of her on the web!

I'm so excited to have this in the works. More excited than when it was planned for Spring Break!

I was there for Chirstmas 2 times.....

One of the trips in particular is MY VeRY FAVORITE EXEPRIENCE AT WDW!

Christmas there is AWESOME!!!!

One of my VERY good friends and i took our kids for the week and we gave them a present every day and then a good many on christams morning.

VERY FUn!

And we went to all the Countries at Epcot and saw all the santas!!!

I bought an awesome treadmill! Both Noah and I need to exercise more and with my busy work schedule, fitting in the gym is harder than ever. So... I brought the gym to us!

Noah used on at a friends house and loved it. So.... by this time next year I hope for both of us to be much healthier!

That's cool Kim. We kind of have our gym downstairs too with a treadmill & I have my step & a DVD player for doing the FIRM. I think it's easier to excercise at home too!

Noah was in the bathroom and said that the toilet wouldn't flush. It happens. I have a plunger, right? So.... plunge, and plunge and for the first time it won't budge!

So I head to the hardware to get some liquid plumbr. Do you know that it says NOT FOR TOILETS??? So I finally find something that says it IS for toilets. I come home, follow the instructions, dump it in and viola... it hardens in the bottom of the bowl. GRRRRR. It's some kind of really harsh chemical so I can't put my hand in there... I stuck a knife and it's hard as a rock.

What now? I've slowly been pouring boiling water in to help break it up but not by much. I think I ruined the toilet!!

Hello everyone! I've been so busy at work that the last thing I want to do when I get home is get on here. I also need to get back into my exercise routine (although my fireman says I'm beautiful just the way I am ) but it makes me feel better.

I mentioned WDW to Ethan for Christmas. He said the exact same thing about Santa finding him there. I told him maybe he'd just leave his presents here for him when he got home! I'm seriously thinking about it. Since I'm going to Mexico without him in June, the least I could do is take him to WDW at Christmas, right?

Exactly!! I officially extended our dates. I thought I had to do one 10 day reservation and then a second one for the final 3 days... but they changed that! I was able to tack on 12/31 -1/3 under the same reservation! So... 13 nights, 14 days... at Christmas!!! Noah would LOVE for Ethan to come for part of that too!

My mind is already in planning mode... I worked out my budget, the savings plan to make sure there is plenty of $$$ for when the time comes. $100 a day, when I don't have to pay for food should be more than plenty for spending money... right?

Anyone know if you can overpay a Disney reservation, like you can to create an on-board credit so it's waiting for you? I'd love to be able to keep "paying" even when it's paid in full.

I only have to use 6.5 vacation days for 2008 (I have 20 total) and 1 for 2009 to pull this off. Another bonus ... along with Noah might miss 2 days of school, max - depending on when they let them out for Christmas... and how relaxing to have all that time, not be rushed and wake up Christmas morning in our favorite place in the whole wide world? Ok... I'm ranting now...

Kim you will love WDW over Christmas, I got to do that in 2001. I would say that if you decide on a park for Christmas day, go early and leave around noon, and spend the day outside of the parks, it gets nuts. We couldn't even find a path to walk down Mainsteet, and we only got on one ride that day, we were at MK, and it was 33 degrees and snowing slightly, lol.
