Good Morning Moonies! I have the family descending on my house today for Ethan's family birthday party. In 2 weeks he's going to have a party at the bowling alley with his friends. I didn't think it would be fair to make him wait that long after his b'day to open his presents so the family came through! He wanted his party at the bowling alley and they were booked up until then. UGH! I'm thinking maybe next year just taking him and 2 friends to the beach or something for the weekend.

I am finally home from work after a crap day i am sick and have a fever and a sore throat and a headache and my glands are swollen.

so wonderful for my 2 days off!
BUT at least i am off!

Hopefully i can get a little bit of soemthign done tonight sewing or door magnets or soemthing !

Jordgubben you made me book a flight with S>W> to Pit., we were going to drive but we are only going from Fri to Sun. Alot of driving for 2 days. We are going to see the Submarine Rauquin my friend served on it along time ago and they are having a reunion.

Cleaned house & excercised today. Mo & Father in law coming for lunch tomorrow. It's been a good weekend so far. The best part is we are off tomorrow.

I will call tomorrow & see if I can place the bracelet order, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they may be closed for the holiday & it will have to be Tuesday. Still plenty of time I know, but I want to get them ordered.

Morning Moonies...

A tourist from Hong Kong went to a Bureau Du Change near his hotel in Manhattan and changed 1,000 Hong Kong Dollar into US currency. He received $128 US bucks.

The next day he went to the same Bureau and this time for HK$1000, he received US$120 only.

"Why the diffelence?" he asked.

"Fluctuations" said the teller.

"Well fluct you Amelicans too!!" said the tourist and stormed off.

There was an elderly man at home, upstairs,
dying in bed.

He smelled the aroma of his favorite chocolate
chip cookies baking. He wanted one last cookie
before he died. He fell out of bed, crawled to
the landing, rolled down the stairs and crawled
into the kitchen where his wife was busily baking
cookies.

With his last remaining strength he crawled
to the table and was just barely able to lift
his withered arm to the cookie sheet. As he grasped
a warm, moist chocolate chip cookie, his favorite
kind, his wife suddenly whacked his hand with
a spatula.

Gasping for breath, he asked her, "Why did
you do that?"

"Those are for the funeral."

Just back from watching the Sunrise, i was actually shocked at how many people had the same idea.
And at how many people remebered to bring a blanket to sit on(NOT US)

Oh well we sat on my jacket, walked the beach for aminute afterwards and now home!
I am always taken aback at how calm our beach is here and that there are minimal VERY MINIMAL waves at this time of year, it was basically flat as if we were at a lake. Cat wait until we swim it in later today!

As we were walking along the beach i thought it had started to rain as i coudl see rings...as if drops were hitting the water.....no it was air bubbles from fish! I THOUGHT THAT VERY COOL!!!!!!!

Happy Labor Day!

I am cleaning the house while Tom takes the kids on a bike ride. Then later today it is the pool and a movie and hopefully a yummy dinner somewhere (anywhere as long as I do not have to cook).

So I was counting the kids Disney Ts and they each have more than 7! They each have 4 new ones for the cruise ($4 sale!) and then they each have too many more... oh the fun decisions =-) that will have to be made... and how many matching outfits can I torture a 4 and 6 yr old with.

for being in the 30's Chris. Exactly how long is your trip???? I know 2 weeks cruising, but what else?

Wow, Chris & Babs both have fun things coming up. The mountains in Vermont are beautiful. We are planning on spending our spring vacation in Stowe this year.
