My only concern is "when."
Obviously it is a sea day. So is it the first sea day? Unlikely.
Therefore, it must be the last sea day, after Falmouth, 10/30, Thursday.

When could it be possibly be scheduled not to interfere with other activities?
I suppose that is impossible. I only ask it be scheduled after Brunch if possible.

Thoughts ? ? Time of day ? ? No hurry.

would love to have a chance for a meet & greet first day for the kids. Sooner the meet and get the "awkward" hellos out of the way the better. Mine are in 2 different clubs this cruise so that would give them day one new friends to hang with.

Agreed. I assume you are talking about aboard the Fantasy?

The only question left is where. I mentioned early in the thread for the desire to do it outside on deck 12 perhaps, weather permitting.
Some liked that, most didn't honestly. I'm flexible of course. My desire (fantasy) if possible is to have a photo on the atrium staircase with the whole group, as I have seen in the past. Never understood how they did this with 60 - 100 pax though. I always thought it was done late for some reason. But understand the likely hood of a late gathering is nil.
Anyone done that photo op? Do you say anything to the CM's? Or do you just take over.
I've heard it is done initially the first day. That is the only time you will ever get the group together. I eventual came around and agreed. IYMWIM.

I hope you guys don't switch just because of one person. I think the majority of us a like minded and if we come together we can make this a great cruise for ourselves and our kids.

Okay--We've been away a while and just got caught up! Whew! Let's see-don't want no drama--I have enough dealing with my daughter's bridesmaids from hell! So, on a lighter note--and did I hear someone mention "drinking"--DH and I are hosting a state wine tasting--bring a bottle of your favorite wine from your state (or borrow a state, or a country if you prefer) and join us! No names, no sign up list (unless you want to tell me through a PM). We meet on the fantail behind Cabana's Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Bring your bottle and a glass-don't care what kind of glass. And if you are brave and good you may get to taste the spit cup!!! Okay, maybe not! Anyway, join us! We had a great time last year! Friendships formed that will last a life time!

Sorry for the annoying repetitive posts. I wanted to respond to everyone and catch up. Sorry if I missed anyone.

I am disturbed and confused as anyone about recent dramatic events. However, I am also excited and thrilled it brought folks out of hiding.
I wondered if anyone was listening or lurking out there. lol.
I now know you are. That is comforting.

As twisted as recent events may be, I feel it is healthy. I trust the group will grow stronger from this unrest.

Ok I'm lost. I just hear Charlie Brown's teacher say "wha wha whaaaa whaaaa" what are those class numbers? What do they mean? I know the Fantasy and Dream are newer and much larger, but I'm the person who makes naval minded people cringe when I say "big boat and little boat" hehehe *ducks the punches*. But really, what is meant by class? Also, I has no idea about pool hours. Really? Maybe I didn't notice because we aren't pool mined/oriented people. But I recall going on the Aquaduck on the Dream while docked at CC (can't recall the time though). I guess I assumed they were open from something like 9a-10p. Interesting. Learn something new every day haha.

Btw don't aim low at 5k, shoot big...10k in 3 yrs. challenge yourself haha.

Love this, Bear! I think you're right it has brought folks out of hiding.

As to making plans for before the cruise, I have made the commitment to go to Diagon Alley! I used the recent Orbitz promo to get a discounted (?) room at Royal Pacific on Thursday night and we will be playing at Universal on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. Followed by an exhausted drive to Port Canaveral when they kick us out of the parks on Friday night.

Using the free points for Friday night at the Marriott.

I was tempted by MNSSHP, but I have done that before and the HP stuff will be new! I am sad we will miss AKL on this trip though as it is my all time favorite hotel.
